  2. Water temp dropped from mid 50's to high 40's. But we were able to figure out those finicky big mouths. Rat l trap on the wind side of steep points and banks. First tourney win of the season and 30 deg temp and 12-18 mph winds all day. Toot toot lol Tight lines

  4. Big Hoosier welcome from Greenwood
  5. Paul, correction, 1650 acre lake. Hootie, I agree lol. That is the second largest bass I've ever caught.
  6. Other than price, no, I prefer the veritas, although I can't say there's anything wrong with the villains, line your reel with fc, and you can feel every blade of grass and still haul big Bessie out of a lay down.
  7. Lol you have to be a Hoosier, we don't grow em that big here
  8. Yeah the crappies were Bustin bait last Friday like crazy. Thanks

  11. Like I mentioned in my intro, I'm relatively new to bass fishing, And all around my neck of the woods that's what all the guys keep sayin, "can't catch no fish till the water his at least 50 deg. I'm in southern indiana, which I'm pretty sure means I'll never catch a bass over 9#lol. Water temp was 41 deg, so if that's early spring or pre spawn forgive my naivety, And yes Reason, I am excited thank you for noticing, for everyone else, thank you for your feed back and knowledge. Tight lines
  12. That's what I use I my 89 stratos, before that I'd let it over flow out the over flow tube and re fill about every 30- 45 min. Never lost a fish that way during tourneys.
  13. I currently fish, Johnson County Christian Bassmasters. And this season I'm doing U.S.A. Bassin, team trail on LEMON.
  14. Sweet deal, maybe my Wal-Mart has some lol
  15. Don't be fooled by all the hype on pre spawn fish not biting. 8 keepers in 5 hours. Break down 1. Chartreuse with black back med size square bill. Fished at speed not slow rolled. 2. Same place and tech. As 1, very next cast. 3. Swim jig 3/8 oz with pumpkin seed trailer speed craw, hop, hop drag 4. Texas rigged trick worm 5. White square bill with glitter blue back 6. Red rattle trap. Med speed 7. Same as 6, only this one was a 6+# TOAD 8. 7"jerk bait Morale of the story, let the fish tell you what they will our won't bites. Tight lines
