Not quite sure where that's at, but if it's close to lake James/snow/big and little otter then give them a try, my brother lives up there, crystal clear water, but still some nice bass. They tend to hang in the connecting channels fyi.
I just recently tried the ned rig, and i throw it on a baitcaster. Definitely takes some discipline but is do able. I throw it on a lews tourney mb reel with a 6'8" lews tournament pro tp1 top water rod.
I just picked up this unit. Only the head unit, I have it installed on the bow with a puck and linked to my console unit elite 7 chirp. I have a lss 2 module on the way. Do I need a different transducer to use the side imaging? If so, can I still use the puck on the troller and put the new one in the hull and run both?
Any one out there want to fish a tournament this Saturday on Brookville lake Indiana? The BFL will be out there Sunday so there may be some practice traffic. PM me for details.

Still in search for a partner for this Saturday, Brookville lake, be the first rider on the new boat
first fish on st Clair before the sinking
second fish on st Clair.... And the last
I've left the plug out once, and it's no where near that bad, that happened when a storm blew in over night and the waves crashed over the stern. The pic is the second time it went down, and only took 20 minutes from dry to drowned, the first time their boat was sitting on the bottom of the lake, with only two inches of the cowl above water.
No that was rose marine in fair haven Michigan,
Yes the elite 7hdi chirp, Thank you
That's the second time it went under, the first was all the way to the top of the cowl
Well, I went and bought a z175 ranger, after lake st Clair ate my old Stratos. electronics are way more advanced than me, any info would be much appreciated.
Lowrance elite 7 on the consol
Lowrance hds 8(no cords our transducers) to be mounted on the bow.
And I thought my smart phone was high tech.....
Maybe I ran into you there, I was fishing a club tournament. I saw many of the yakers out and about. Nice finish good luck to you. If you ever see me in the old red Stratos, give a shout.

Tournament today. Caught fish all day in a channel swing by the mouth of a cove. Saw tons of buck bass preparing beds with females not far off. Water temp 60-62. Didn't finish inn the money but caught more fish than anyone else so had a great day!

If your noticing them following but not biting, try to dead stick it. Even as long as a minute of your bait sitting there idle will drive them crazy enough to hit it. Good luck. Btw. Green pumpkin chartreuse dip is my go to killer lol
