  1. Nope. Always have a paddle tail or craw trailer on mine.
  2. It's hard to beat SK 1.5's with upgraded hooks. Such good bang for your buck. I do love Spro Little John's and the Fat Papa's. 6th Sense Crush 50X are good too. When I really need a bite I'll tie on a Megabass S-Crank.
  3. If I'm not throwing my 110 I have a size 08 X-Rap on and it gets crushed.
  4. Maxcuatro is awesome. I use 65 lb on my frog rod.
  5. I have the 7'3 mh Ehrler rod paired with the tatula sv reel in 7.3 gear ratio. It's awesome and pretty sensitive. Been mainly throwing 3/8-1/2 oz spinner baits on it. I love it so far. I just have 1 question. On the bottom of the rod is there supposed to be a Daiwa logo on the butt of the rod? If I can I'll take a picture later of what I mean.
  6. I use a 6'10" medium glass poison adrena for shallow jerks and shallow cranks. Pretty much any moving bait with treble hooks that is 10 feet or less. It's awesome for square bills, lipless and small top water lures.
  7. Rage tail or netbait paca craw is all I throw for craws.
  8. Newest pick up. Daiwa Tatula SV with a 7'3" Daiwa Tatula Elite Brent Ehrler rod
  9. You just missed the sale at tacklewarehouse for the CT Type R 50th Anniversary Edition reel for $135. I picked up a 6.3 speed for my wife. I just came in on Friday.
  10. Check here to see if you like any http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Shakey_Jigheads/catpage-TTSH.html
  11. Dobyn's Fury or *** *** ***.
  12. N u T e c h pro series jig in black and blue with a black and blue craw trailer Picasso swim jig in blue glimmer shad with a paddle tail swimbait trailer 3.5-4 inch trailer size Missile jigs Ike's mini flipping jig bammer craw with a craw father (desert storm color) I mainly throw black and blue, white/shad, and green or a natural color. Once and a while I'll throw somethin a bit more off the wall. Hope this helps.
  13. 6'10" M Shimano Jackall Poison Adrena Glass rod is my go to for shallow to mid cranks. I love that rod.
  14. Just ordered the CT Type R 50th Anniversary in 6.3 for the wife and I ordered the Tatula SV TWS in 7.3 for myself. I also ordered the Tatula elite 7'3" MH Ehrler rod for myself. Not sure what rod the wife will end up with but we're super excited to get these!
  15. Zoom for subtle, Stanley for medium and Strike king for most kicking action. All depends where I am and what the conditions are but those are the 3 I always have with me.
  16. I'd take the 7.5. It's easy to slow down your retrieve if you need to.
  17. Underspin with a fluke or paddle tail swim bait.
  18. Double fluke (donkey rig) pearl white or pink zoom super flukes always produces for me. You can fish them fast or slow. Whooper plopper, buzz baits or poppers work well. I also like lipless or shallow square bills.
  19. I've had my best luck with a paddle tail swim bait. Either a keitech swing impact fat, strike king rage swimmer or bass pro/cabela's brand in a 3.75 - 4 inch size. I've heard the yamamoto zako was pretty good as a subtle presentation.
  20. Be careful how you store the strike king elaztech and Z man. They will melt. I keep mine in the original bag they come in and dont mix them with other plastics. 21. I'm no expert but I throw shallow jerks, shallow cranks and some top water spook style baits on a Shimano poison adrena 6'10" medium glass rod. So far it's been awesome. It's my favorite rod to throw.
  22. Dobyns Fury 7'3" MH would work well
  23. My go to on a shakyhead is a strike king 3x elaztech finesse worm or the z man finesse wormz. It's basically the same worm. The tail always sticks straight up with great action and they are super durable.
  24. Like a few others in here, can't beat the swing shad for $2.50 at Cabela's. Next time I'm getting bigger split rings for the jika rig. Also picked up a few 1/4 pencil weights.
