  1. I think they all work pretty well. Just don't over lube with the oil and grease, tends to slow down the reel.
  2. I have 4 rods that I don't use anymore and would like to donate them. I called Dicks, they never heard of this. I called BassPro and he said we only do this in the Spring, which it's still Spring time :/. So where else could I donate these rods?
  3. What's your budget?
  4. I have braid scissors, but I mainly use my knife...
  5. Those War Eagles are one of the better spinner baits out there..
  6. I have a 7:1 and I use it for a lot of different setups. You can always slow down if needed..
  7. Because some of the Daiwas are Magsealed for salt water. I don't know about the Mets..
  8. Did you adjust the 6 pins behind the side plate?
  9. Most of my reels are low profile, just wanted a nice round reel. I have my C4 5601, but that's a heavy reel. I use it more for swimbaits and such..

  13. I received this beaut earlier today. It was smaller than I expected, as you can see it next to my Steez. Now to find a rod to match
  14. I really like it also. I use it only for spinning setups.
  15. No, not necessary at all. I fished many years without a baitcaster. And yes like previous post, it's easy to use topwater like spooks and such with a spinning reel.

  18. I know this is an old topic, but was wondering if anyone has used Ballistol to flush out the AR bearing? It's mineral oil. @Delaware Valley Tackle

  20. I switched to the uni knot last year, no issues so far.
  21. No, not the glass. I have the Med Lt. It's one of the best rods that I own.
  22. I was thinking about this mat. I know it's for soldering, but it would work for reel maintenance.. https://www.amazon.com/Insulation-UnaMela-Heat-Resistant-Maintenance-Electronic/dp/B01N99JC3K/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1490539061&sr=8-3&keywords=Work+table+mat
