  1. Some of my favorites are the Hack Attack, Terminator pro model jig(green pumpkin Orange is deadly), I just bought a couple of the new Booyah bank roll jig from BPS. Really excited to try them out. The design of the head stands up perfectly every time. Excellent design and some unique colors
  2. Rage Tail is my favorite line of baits. I'm not actually sure if they actually catch any more than zoom or yum but it's mostly a confidence thing for me. One of my good friends pulled a 13 pound largemouth out of a small local lake on a PB&J rage craw and I bought a few packs to try them and after that I've been hooked. I would also recommend the DB structure bug. Like everyone else has said the action and quality control is unparalleled. As far as colors for the rage craw I would recommend PB&J, Bama Craw, Watermelon Red, and blue bug are my favorites. I still have room for zooms in my plastics box. You just can't beat a plum Apple Ol' Monster. I've tried the rage tail anaconda but I still prefer the zoom.
  3. I have a couple of them. I threw one when I bought it in February just to try it out and ended up getting a fish the first cast. Air temps were in the 40's so I can't imagine the water temps were too warm. I am extremely impressed with them. I'm gonna try them out later this spring and if they work as well as I think they will I will probably end up filling up most of my frog box with these. The fish see hollow body frogs all the time but these are something different and they look EXACTLY like bluegill so I have high expectations for them. Side note, I love the Trokar hooks on these things. They are very sharp and seem pretty sturdy. No way to really test them yet. I'm kind of mad they released them in November cause we won't be able to really test them until the spring but we will see. I would say if you are on the fence about it, go pick one up. I don't think you'll be disappointed
  4. Yeah man. He seems like a super great guy. Phenomenal fisherman too. I found out about him through the circuit breakers too. Have no idea how he isn't bigger than he is. He's only been fishing the tour a few years and got a top ten at the Forrest Wood Cup. He will be one of the legends some day for sure.
  5. Bill Dance for sure. If not him Mark Daniels Jr.
  6. This is about my only one too. It seriously happens every single time. I have never got hit on the first few casts then had a good day. Other than that I have my fishing visor that I always wear. I just happened to catch my PB the first time I wore it. I don't think it's lucky or anything but I just like to stick to tradition
  7. If you're going to be spending 200 dollars I would recommend a 7ft Med or Med Heavy Duckett Ghost and get a Lews tournament MB in 7.1:1 or the new 7.5:1. That would be about a $240 combo but worth every penny. The owner of my local tackle shop says he has countless people come in and he will sell them the Tournament MB and they come back a week later and want to replace all their Revos with them. In the 75-150 dollar range Lews is making the best reels on the market.
