  1. Fished Rodman Res. yesterday to practice for a upcoming Tournament this weekend. Caught a solid limit of 5 with this post spawn girl as the anchor.
  2. Fishing tomorrow, so posted two today.
  3. Pop-R
  4. Depends on what thickness plastic you throw and what technique. I use Gamakatsu hooks. Round bend worm hooks for lizards and worms, EWG when using creature baits and flipping hooks when pitching heavy cover.
  5. Great fish! I would also agree to 9 and change.
  6. Remove everything possible, take to a pressure wash station, spend some time draining and wiping. Allow to air dry or use leaf blower. Clean all connections, lubricate where needed, reinstall equipment. Just my thoughts. R/Ski
  7. Years ago while fishing on my Hydra Sport about 30 miles East of Jacksonville. I was respectively boarded for a "Safety inspection and paperwork" after 0 violations were noted I asked the Senior " Why in this day and age do I still need a bucket? with two bilge pumps and a self bailing deck? His reply " Son, there is no bilge pump in the world that can keep up with a scared man and a bucket" From that point forward I got it. LOL
  8. Thanks for always beeing there for me! USMC Retired DOD
  9. Best wishes. R/Ski
  10. GREAT PIC!! Have been through a few and not ANY fun.
  11. Soooo many fish..... So little time.
  12. They are all not this year's fish, I have been privileged to have the passion, job, wife, and health to travel the country and some of the world in pursuit of big game fish from Bass to Blue Marlin. But my luck in Casino's and the lottery sucks!!!!!! LOL Maybe if I worked as hard @ gambling as I do @ fishing my luck would change, but not much chance of that happening.
  13. My Brother and I arrived @a remote Cabin around 0330 in Ontario and safe light was only 45 min away. We quickly donned insulated bibs and heavy coat as the temp was only low 50's and the water much colder. In short order (10 casts) my brother hooked up a 48 in Muskie and at that point I knew it would be a great week. Throughout our 7 night stay my brother and I caught and released 8 Muskie(4 each) that were handled gently, revived and returned to the lake, along with Pike, walleye and crappie which were released in a fry pan of hot oil for our dinners. Two of my Muskie were over 50 inch which is considered trophy class by U.S and Canadian standards. This proved to be a great challenge on fresh water tackle. I was able to spend quality time with my brother and 3 nephews which was overdue, and want to thank my brother for being my outfitter, my guide and GREAT company on this adventure.
  14. That would eat my P.B. !!!!!!
  15. Canada.
