    Just my 2 cents, If you go 8:1 you can slow your retrieve down if you like, However if you go 6:3 that's as fast as you will go. Just me but I would go 8:1.

    Depends on water clarity on the body of water you are fishing. Gin clear yes, stained, tannic, vegetation not so much.
