    Sad Day's

They depend on us for food, water, shelter, attention, and general caring and in return they give you unconditional loyalty. Then comes the day when you must do the terribly hard thing. Yesterday afternoon my wife and I said goodbye to our old, extremely loyal friend of 13 years. He was loved and will be greatly missed by our friends neighbors and mostly us. And today is not much differant as we are packing up his things to donate.
  6. Sorry, Fella's and Gals, I never saw the date. Will reference next time.
  7. @islandbass " If you call yourself a hardcore bass angler, then you know that California is known for producing some monstrous Largemouth Bass. While some anglers fish for fun, others spend countless hours and money chasing that one fish. Some are after a personal best, others, a world record. Greg Springer of Visa, Calif., caught and released a 16.3-pound monster bass on Lake Wohlford near Escondido on Friday, Feb. 26, 2016. This monster California bass was caught on a 3:16 Lure Company glide bait and was caught from shore! After encountering this massive bass a couple days prior, Springer was determined to land it, so he headed to the spot. Making a cast into some glass-like water conditions, the huge bass actually came up and swiped at his bait. Knowing that she probably got a good look at his swimbait and line because of the calm, clear conditions, Springer backed off and moved on down the bank. When I saw the wind come up in that area, I went back over there and she crushed it on the first cast,"said Springer. The monster California bass is Lake Wohlford's biggest bass in fifteen years. The lake record stands at 19 lb. 3 oz., caught in February of 1986 by Steve Beasley. "

  9. My belief is "Clasping leaf pond weed"
  10. Will insurance Co. give you a rental?
  11. Me also, several Giants and several 100 fish days. It really is a double edged sword, Spraying and killing has negative impact as well as letting it choke off the lake. It's a no win.
  12. And now all that vegetation is turning to muck @ the bottom of a already shallow lake.
  13. Last time I was @ Kenansville the lake was just about choked out with Hydrilla.
  14. Did the video open for ya?
  15. This is Headwaters lake located just over the berm from the famous Stick Marsh in Fellsmere Fl. Headwaters lake is 10,000 acres of prime trophy Bass fishing and home to just as many GATORS. https://fb.watch/tFR-aFdnCU/
  16. WELCOME! From Fl.
  17. No idea what the worm weighs, but 3/8 tungsten throws it well.
  18. Has anyone tried these or had any success with them?
  19. Pick the right tool for the job. Will Channel locks remove a nut? sometimes yes. But the better tool would be a box end wrench or socket.
  20. Anyone know when this became official?
  21. Yes it has changed the way I fish. I no longer own a boat and have since joined a local bass fishing club with 50 active members most being boaters. We fish @ least 1 tourney a month. This past year several boaters in this club have purchased FFS and I find I spend most of my time riding around as the boater keeps the trolling motor moving and staring @ his screen. When he finds something of interest he begins to fish, as I am 15 feet or more behind and can not cast to that target without casting to the front. I do not know what to say if anything. Example: While fishing our last tourney a school of fish came up busting baitfish. The boater naturally turned the boat towards them and began firing a lipless crank and proceeded to catch one after another while I had to watch because I did not want to throw over him or "past the console" He had a nice limit and I had 1 fish. Rant is over, but still frustrating as I pay the entry fee.
  22. You will fly into Mazatlan, and a carrier will meet you there for the 1.5 hour drive to Baccarac lodge. I have done it but the drive was still sketchy.
