  2. Carolina crankbait supply also has a bunch. They sell on etsy or Instagram.
  3. Hi, quick question for the group. I recently bought some CRC 6-56 as a corrosion preventer bc I read it was ok to use it on fishing reels. I have been occasionly doing some inshore fishing and using my shimano reels. I have always rinsed my reels off in cool water after seeing salt. I was going to use CRC on my reels but then realized that I'm not sure what they are made of? Are the chronarch and curado bodies made of plastic? Is it safe to use a corrosion preventer on reels that aren't metal? Thank yall so much!
  4. Looks to me like a WEC Z-1 in chartreuse classic. Shouldn't be too hard to find, but its gonna cost you around 50$.
  5. Fluke is awesome on a c-rig
  6. I have floated part of the Greenbrier before as I am from West Virginia. We would always Park one car at the end of our run and one car at the beginning. It takes a couple of extra hours sometimes but it's so much easier not having to worry about a ride.
  7. With a 6' rod, id go with a 1000 series shimano. Whichever one fits your budget. I still have my shimano reels from 15 years ago and they get fished regularly.
  8. Hi all, hope everyone is having a great Saturday. Quick question for you top water experts out there. I recently purchased a bait labeled as a repainted original full-size vixen. The markings on its face do match what an original Vixen looks like. The bait gives me pause though because it does not have a Rattle and it's 5" long. Did I get scammed LOL? I have read on the internet that they did make a full size 5" Vixen but I have never read anything about it not having a rattle. Any information will be greatly appreciated! Tight lines
  9. I mostly fish from the bank Tom, but I really appreciate your advice.
  10. Nike lunar glides. I run in these and they are the most comfortable shoes ive ever worn. I just use the worn out runners to fish in.
  11. You can, but I probably wouldn't. You could hammer in a nail with the back of a screwdriver, but you're probably better served using a hammer.
  12. Thank you so much @fishballer06 cant wait to throw that lucky craft! Good looking out brother. That frog is gonna get worn out this spring.
  13. Dropped off the box with Santa yesterday. He's going to try to get it there before Christmas LOL
  14. Thank you fellas, great info.
  15. As a huge fan of both the z-man ChatterBait and the Strike King rage blade, I too am really curious about this lure. Considering maybe ordering a few from TW...
  16. Hi all, had a quick question about the scrounger head. I've been trying to fish more scroungers this fall heading into winter. The ones I purchased are the Aaron Marten models. Their wobble is not near as pronounced as the videos I see online. I do have the Long bill models and I was just wondering if anyone else sees a difference in action depending upon the size of the bill and the size of the bait. Thank you!
  17. Im good with however you do it. Thanks!
  18. @Lefty76 those hooks definitely will not be big enough for that 7.8.
  19. Im in. Sending pm now
  20. @EGbassing what part of the country are you in?
  21. Im probably in the minority but i swear by yo-zuri hybrid. Good price as well.
  22. Im not saying spinning gear wouldnt handle it (surf setups throw baits much larger than that slammer), but you are better served by tossing those swimbaits on casting gear. You need to learn how to use a baitcaster anyway. It Will open up other techniques as your fishing progresses.

    Lure ID

Hi fellas, got this Balsa flat-sider in a lot I purchased a couple weeks ago. Can't seem to find any information on it. Anybody recognize this lure? Anybody have an idea of the brand? It has a circuit board lip as well. Thank you all in advance!
