  1. LOL, yeah he is.
  2. Just for fun, how 'bout fishing nothing but big swimbaits for a whole day at Kentucky Lake? I would be VERY interested in the results. -Kent I'd be down for that. Obviously, I would have to convince Jimzee to do something similar. I guess it will depend on what the fish are doing when we get down there. Can't force feed 'em something deep when they are shallow and vice versa.
  3. Swimbaits don't work.
  4. Tungsten jigs in your future? Sign me up if so.
  5. Brotha man, has it come to this? She finally put you in the red? ;D
  6. Is the water hard? If so, I consider it unsafe. LOL Not a big fan of being on the ice.
  7. Just like anything else, you could choose to participate or not in a live chat. If things get heated or uncomfortable for you, choose not to participate. Very simple.
  8. I'm surprised you didnt buy it and then post a thread asking if anyone else had purchased one and whether or not they thought it was a good buy. ;D
  9. Bob, you don't need one. We have had them at the store for a while and every one of them is still there. Traditional rangefinders are more than adequate, especially if you are stand hunting. Even if you are not, knowing the distance by vision alone (through practice and repetition) will save you time over both of them. As far as the unit goes, I mean, it's a Leupold. Quality is not an issue, but the pros don't outweigh the cons on this one.
  10. So, is he coming to fish in PA or what? LOL
  11. Yeah August is going to be busy for me.. Wedding on July 30 and honeymoon to Alaska August 13-21st.. Need a wedding photographer?
  12. I guess one may feel like it bends easier, but it may be that you are feeling the different points through the blank where they bend. To bend a XF tip to a certain point and a Mod tip to that exact point would seem easier I suppose... I'm friggin' lost. ;D
  13. BC, it sounds like you are looking more at "power" than "action" maybe? A ML power rod will be easier to bend than a H action rod. If not, I dont know that you will find a "softer" tip definition. The Moderate rod shown above will likely bend easier than the XF. Why are you looking for a "soft" tip? Benefits you have read or experiences?
  14. Oh, I see how it is. You custom rod guys think you're so cool...apparently mine was not good enough. ;D
  15. No, the XF has the"shorter" and lighter tip, but the backbone comes up further in the blank. Who has the action diagram to post here?
  16. Took me a LONG time to get used to the Revo S you did for me last year. There is such a big difference between when I sent it and when I got it back, it felt like a totally different reel. There is much to be said for a proper clean/lube.
  17. So an XF would be stiffer tip, and a F would be a softer tip? I guess so, depending on your terminology. Like Flechero said, it's going to depend on the company. Using the same company in the same line of rods, typically XF bends closer to the tip, F further down the blank....all the way down to Mod (like a crankbait rod).
  18. James Harrison is "dirty" because of the league's pansy rules. I can't really argue about Hines Ward. LOL (I'll still be wearing his jersey, sue me.) ;D Hope everyone enjoys the game. I know I will.
  19. Really, my only "off limits" time would be from July 28-Aug 5. I will be lounging in St. Lucia. 8-)
  20. I can get a bag of potatoes and make fries if you want...
  21. I'd most likely be in. I will still only have my jon and a 9.9 though, so that makes it a little tough on Raystown.
  22. When the Levee Breaks Hey Hey What Can I Do
  23. Yep, as I'm sure you're ok with a lamb skin boot wearing quarterback, a cheating coach and having the dirtiest defensive player in recent memory. Anytown USA, ya got that right. :
