Fished Deep Creek last Saturday. I caught picks and walleye all day but couldn't buy a bass bite. My buddy on the front of the boat was the exact opposite and put about 20 bass in the boat, mostly smallmouth. BTW, it was SNOWING in the morning there. Stupid weather.

Pulled a deer tick off the instep of my foot a couple years ago. Next day it started turning red. The following day it had doubled in size. Sometimes it can be a good thing. I know my trout fishing would have never been the same experience without the brown trout. Of course, I also don't mind the thought of feral pigs running around a-plenty and letting me shoot them as much as I want. Different strokes....

That's a 7.5lb fish. Great fish, no doubt, but I have read about what you catch at those ponds and by your account those fish make that one look small. If you worry about people blowing up your spot, email the pics to me. I will personally alter the background so that all but you and the fish are unrecognizable. Since I'm not from the area (and I wouldn't spot-burn someone anyway) there is no fear that you will show up one day to me fishing your honey hole.

Two hours from Elizabethtown to the dam at KY/Barkley. No brainer for weekends or when it's more than just to wet a line. As for the ponds, I typically go BIG in places like that mostly because very few, if any, other people do it.
