  1. For the G2's? Why are you throwing fluoro with a bait designed to wake?
  2. If you are going to throw 1-5, get the 7'6" H. The MH ratings (and okuma ratings in general) are over estimated.
  3. Between those two, the Curado. It's probably the tops as far as low pro SB reels are concerned. The Lexa is also a quality reel in the 300 size.
  4. They're trout, bud. They eat trout things.
  5. What's the water clarity like down there?
  6. I'm working on that map Allen.
  7. I appreciate it man. The PB has gone up each of the last three years. I'll let you know when I hit a replica-worthy one. I'm thinking it will have to be 10 for me to shell out the money.
  8. Oooooh Daddy! Get some!
  9. Perhaps a gravid replica by _________ is in order!
  10. There is your issue. Considering the bait and you are casting overhand, that is the culprit. If you are familiar with other wake baits (316 Wake Jr is notorious for helicoptering), they do the same thing with an overhand cast. Try a sidearm lob. It should all but eliminate the twisting of the bait in the air.
  11. If that kid's fish is 30" long, allow me to show you the PA record largemouth.
  12. LOL, you know me... I pull zero punches and I give zero shats.
  13. Ah! Winter boredom at its finest! Just find the state you want and click on that region. Who gives a crap what section it is in?
  14. It's been responsible for at least an 18 in Japan. Trust me, I'd pay it for a fish like that.
  15. LOL, I was still fooled by the pic. Almost two pounds over I think.
  16. Much like my suggestions with swimbaits, buy a good pair to start (and take care of them) and it will save you money in the long run. If I buy a pair of $30 glasses each year for 5 years or spend $150 up front, there is no difference in overall "value"
  17. Hey, it's true. Best way to make a 5lb fish a 3lb fish is to put it on a scale.
  18. I had a day two years ago that I will never forget. For about an hour straight, seriously, on consecutive casts I had at least one and at times 3 follow the bait all the way back to me. The size differences were obvious and I'd say there were probably 6-7 different fish including one that I don't know I will ever forget. It was over 45 and had a head the size of a shovel. I only had two commit to hitting the bait and I farmed both bites. I think I was so entertained watching them follow a bait up to my feet for so long that I didnt really pay attention to when they hit it.
  19. I'm sure I could find one somewhere.
  20. That's a d**n big walleye! I found a list of all the boat ramps and checked a map. I'm typically wading below dam 5 from the looks of it. I'll just have to get on the water and find what I find. Thanks Nate.
  21. Some naked Canadian ladies cruising on Champlain. Some did look like they just walked from the Northwest Territories though....
  22. Python and the Anaconda are in pretty high demand. Colt is still a company, no idea why they don't re-introduce them considering the popularity.
  23. I just got a 9.9 last weekend and I have a 16ft extra wide jon boat. No worries putting it in somewhere especially if there are toothies.
  24. Help me out with "behind the dams"? I fish between 4 and 5 (maybe, I think) typically, wading. I've only been on the river in a boat once down there.
