I think he was referring to fishing with actual live craws...
I am very, very new to fishing jigs; I have only fished with trailers having claws and have caught some fish. It is an interesting point you bring up, however i think that for the sake of realism, I prefer to let the claws on the trailer.

Yeah, unfortunately I got the confirmation that it was sent and thats about it. I called the USPS today and they said it was delivered on Saturday (18th). I am currently waiting for the delivery man to call me. I have lived at the same addy for five years w/o a single problem.
I have an upstairs neighbor that is the prime thievery suspect if the postman says that he delivered it on Saturday!!!!!
Well, from a current employee of the Commonwealth to a former....welcome aboard. I dont work for PSP, but worked with them during my internship with a local PD in Cambria County.
I grew up next to a PSP detective and Blair Co's ADA...gotta stay tight with those who can give you a ticket.

I like fishing from my jon boat in just about any conditions....so of course my vote was biased.
As far as equipment, I use a 6'6" spinning outfit (medium) when I am fishing the river. Oh yeah, buy tubes!!!!!!!
You could fish the susquehanna anywhere around Harrisburg, Pa. Tons of shopping for the wife and TONS of smallmouth for you to catch. There is also a BPS in Harrisburg for your evening ventures and you could make a trip to Cabela's about an hour north for some more bait monkey feeding!
Lots of sights and great restaurants in Hburg. This place is the definition of somewhere I wouldn't want to live, but its a great place to visit.
