  1. I like to catch a lot of fish, tourney stage for me please. And after reading Senile's post, I will have to agree that I have a little 5 in me too...good call. The fact that I might not catch anything doesnt stop me from fishing. But I dont know a whole bunch of people that would say they go fishing to NOT catch fish. Wayne
  2. HAHA, you will now.
  3. Dont know Lamb of God, but the others I totally agree with. Some other Pantera favorites- "By demons be driven" "Regular People" and "5 minutes alone" I gotta give it to Metallica too--"One" and "Battery" Rage Against the Machine--All of the first album, "People of the Sun" and "Bulls on Parade" from the second. I also listen to any country song, can't narrow that down to one. I am sure I left some out, but you get the picture....
  4. Anything but....well, there isn't anything I dont eat LOL Steak, Chinese food....and my new favorite as of two days ago HOG MAW!!!
  5. Dude, you are wrong. Bottom line. I tried to be nice about this but.... I dont know that there is a person on here that will agree with your "assumption" that a pike or musky is somehow lower on the food chain than a largemouth. It is simple nature. BIG FISH EAT SMALLER FISH. The fact of the matter is that pike and musky are bigger fish. Granted, a largemouth will eat a small pike or musky. I will give you that. But looking at the two species, with adult examples of each, it is simply incorrect to think that the largemouth is the more dominant predator. Wayne
  6. Bizzle, you are correct. I just looked up the "elite" and that black suit is the exact one I have.
  7. Maybe that is what they are called. I got them at Gander Mountain and they have the Frogg Togg and GM logos on the front. Like I said, they are awesome. I think I paid $100 for the jacket and bibs, on sale from 169. Wayne
  8. I bought a 16ft Bass Tracker w/ trailer, two trolling motors, two batteries, life jackets, cuda fish finder and oar for $950 a year and a half ago. Replaced the tires-$150 Buying new trolling motor this year-$200 That is what I have in it. I am 6'1" and 275lbs and I can take two other guys of comparable size and fish comfortably all day in that boat. Wayne
  9. I am not sure if I am calling it the right thing, but I think mine are the Frogg Togg pros. I looked it up on the site and they still look like the "tissue paper" bizzle is referring to. The ones I bought are more like a wind breaker material and the bibs are reinforced with gore tex type material from the bottom up to above the knee. I think they are very durable, much more so than the regular Toggs. Wayne
  10. I use BPS hooks, haven't had a problem with them once.... Wayne
  11. Cool, let me know. We should get a BPS trip together sometime. A couple other ideas....some of the guys from NE PA are looking into a Cabela's trip after the new year and also in January is the Maryland fishing Expo. I was thinking of taking Friday, 1/12/07 off and heading down for the day. Toby is still off work b/c of his elbow and I figured he would go. Wayne
  12. I will get in here too....WELCOME TO ALL!!!!
  13. Saw it, thank for the link!! Wayne
  14. Of course it is...after I used yours last year, I decided that I needed one too.
  15. My GF gave me a $50 BPS card for Christmas....got some deciding to do.
  16. Just looked up the Fritts reel on BPS, on sale for 44 bucks. Cant really argue with that. Wayne
  17. UH OH!!! Is the secret finally out where Lake Nunya is?!?!?!?!?!
  18. I looked up the price...is $329 correct, RW? Wayne
  19. See, I was thinking about the 5.0 reel, but was wondering if I would still be able to use it for shallower cranks? Just like I dont want to get worn out with a deep crank/high ratio reel, I dont want to be cranking a 5.0 reel 100mph in an effort to get a shallower crank to the strike zone.
  20. You're not right. ;D
  21. I have never added a rattle to anything. The only ones I have used are built into or already attached to the bait. I think that for finesse fishing, you are looking for subtlety and the rattle may detract from your presentation. Rattles seem un-natural in this situation... Wayne
  22. Not sure, is it possible strike king has a patent on the material? I know other companies marked floating worms, and terminator makes the snap back plastics...both similar qualities of the 3x brand. Wayne
  23. Mods will likely move this, just a heads up. Start off slow, in your back yard with a weight attached to the line. 3/8oz bell sinkers work well as do the casting plugs they sell in stores. The hardest thing to do when first starting out is not trying to throw the bait as hard as you can. You need to develop a feel for how the line comes off the reel beneath your thumb. Be patient and practice, practice, practice....preferably where there are few trees!! ;D Wayne
  24. Ok, this is incorrect. Largemouth bass may be the most recognizable predator, but they are by no means the TOP predator. Put a 5lb bass in front of a 100lb blue cat or 50lb flathead cat and see what happens. Look how many smallmouth bass in the north have teeth marks on them from musky and pike taking shots at them. I totally disagree with your post. Wayne
