  1. Welcome home and have a very Merry Christmas. I have a friend leaving w/ the PA National Guard Strykers sometime next year. Seeing people come home gives me hope that he will do the same. Wayne
  2. Thanks fellas. I will give the windex wipes a shot and try them on the back of the fish. I dont think the compressed air will work. I believe the dust combined w/ some moisture and created a nasty little mixture that will not be easily removed. I still may try it though, as it is a "dry" method. Wayne
  3. Nope, caught in Little Kettle Creek in Potter County, PA Its about as big as this one. I still have yet to get a definitive answer as to what that one is, brookie or tiger trout. I wasnt sure if the water would hurt it or not.
  4. Thats what I was thinking too.
  5. Back in the day, I used to be a trout fisherman. I have three trout mounted that have collected a bit of dust over the years, and I was wondering if anyone knew of a way to clean this dust off without damaging the fish. I will try to get pics up at some point, maybe with a "before and after" shot of each of them. They are a 25" brown, 18.5" palomino and 19 brook. Thanks for the replies fellas. Wayne
  6. I have a Mook shirt, and its ready to get some GVILLE MOJO all over it!!!!!!!!
  7. Bassnleo....Just remember, only a couple more months to Gville!!!
  8. Well, I am not so sure about the home game feel. PSU is one of the best traveling teams in the country and you can expect a number of fans to be there. We have been mostly defense oriented this year and we have a great one when everbody shows up to play. Dan Connor is a beast and was just voted all american LB. As far as Joe goes.....He can stay as long as he likes IMO. The guy is a living legend and, at 80 years old, still walks to the stadium on game day. I do feel he is stuck in the "old days" of college football. While running the ball and pounding teams into submission can still work sometimes, I think you have to be able to open up the offense a little bit and score through the air more efficiently. PSU has a stable of thoroughbred athletes just dying to show what they can do. Unfortunately, I dont think a lot of them get to show their potential because of the offensive scheme at PSU that seems unchanged in the last 20 years. Wayne
  9. By weight, these are not small compared to the basstrix bluegills. Buy if you want something realistic looking that is used by a lot of the big bass guys on here.... Try the Mattlures Ultimate Bluegill. At rest, it sits nose down just like a live one. They are around 2oz, but only about 5 inches long. Get your flippin stick and get to work!!!!!!
  10. I am in the same boat as you are with my team. I dont know much about A&M at all, other than they usually have some tough kids on their team. It should be a good one, possibly high scoring on our end depending on which Anthony Morelli shows up to the game. Hopefully, its the kid that whooped on Tennessee last year!!!!!! Wayne
  11. When I read that it "hit a nerve," I assumed that someone was upset by something in the videos. Good to hear that it was the complete opposite of my negative thinking LOL :-X Wayne
  12. Ronnie, the site looks great. I thought it had a lot of info during the initial stages and I must say, you have now outdone yourself with the final product. Great job!!!
  13. Would you like to be added to the list of beer I will bring to Guntersville? I better check w/ Alpster before I load his bus with suds for RW and Jimzee......
  14. I just read every one of those 5 pages.....i feel queasy and lucky too!!
  15. Yep! Ok, I will be sure to include some in my pre-departure packing schedule. Doesnt come any fresher than directly from the source They have a variety pack, I will see what seasonals they have toward the middle of March. The one I think you may enjoy is calles Susquehanna Stout. If I can find a list w/ descriptions of the year-rounders, I will send it to you for some possible other selections. Otherwise, I will pick for ya LOL
  16. As always, great offer Bobby. Thanks for continuing to provide innovative products. Its nice to know people still appreciate feedback from the little guy. Wayne
  17. bud...bud...Bud...Budweiser... I also like St. Pauli Girl Dark and Heineken Dark if you can find them "fresh". Unfortunately a lot of imports tend to get skunky due to shipping delays. Do you have a favorite regional, full-bodied dark beer? I think I have something in mind that you may like from the micro I mentioned earlier.... How dark are you talking? Guinness dark?
  18. Any particular favorite types? Light, Dark? Maybe I could bring you some northern suds to Guntersville...
  19. I like beer. Each Thursday, I meet my future father-in-law at a local microbrewery/restaurant for dinner and a couple beers. It is called Appalachian Brewing Company. My current favorite is their Grinnin' Grizzly...nice beer with a cinnamon aftertaste. My other favorite there is the Riverside Red. Think "Killian's" but much better. We belong to the "Mug Club" and have our own personalized mugs that are kept on site for whenever we visit. I am #10 Other than those, I enjoy trying new beers whenever I get the chance. I am not able to do the "beer snob" comparisons, but I thoroughly enjoy sampling whatever I can find. Wayne
  20. Hang in there man.... You are hurting right now, which is good (believe it or not). That shows a very strong bond existed between the two of you. Like others have mentioned, remember the good times, savor the great ones..... Wayne
  21. For some reason this just hit me the wrong way. I may laugh about this for quite a while..... Thank you Sounds like an event in the Redneck Olympics LOL
  22. HMMMM.....Poppin peyote buttons in your salad now? Interesting thought.... I am sure your indian name would be "Lightfoot" BM is right, eat a cheese burger!!! LOL
  23. Just read the news. Good to hear that the judge gave him a decent amount of time. I wonder if he can be release for good behavior and how Roger Goodell will view the sentence w/ regards to letting him play again?
  24. I am in the middle of my serving of "humble pie" Patriots are definitely a good team. Cant wait to see 'em again in the playoffs.
  25. For the record (and so I dont sound soap boxish), I prefer it fried too. Along with numerous other things. You cand deep fry JUUUUUUUUUST ABOUT ANYTHING LOL
