  1. Megastrike on the swimbaits and now JJ's Magic on the soft plastics. Both great products IMO.
  2. I am so glad the two of you got to witness that catch!! Mike, dont forget to order stuff online and support BR!! (shameless plug )
  3. Glenn, Ronnie took all my pictures and put them on his computer. I believe he will be sending them on to you. Wayne
  4. Geez, where do I start.... First and foremost, I would like to thank my gracious host Alpster for not only putting me up for the week, but also delivering a SWEET custom pitchin stick that was the *** of many on the trip The conversations to and from were first rate and very entertaining. Riskkid - one of the most generous gestures I have ever seen. This guy was at the trip and let us use his boat the entire time. Doesnt get much better than that. Thanks man. Roadwarrior - another great guy with a SICK book of pics. If you ever get the chance to sit and BS with this guy, take it!! Great fishing with you on the last day of the trip. Hope you ripped them at Pickwick today!! ghoti and wife - amazing cooks, amazing people. The dessert was too good for words!! From what I understand, I will see you in a couple months!!! CJ - Man, that boat is AWESOME. Again, if you ever get a chance to fish with this guy, TAKE IT!! After fishing with him, I realized that I have a lot more to learn about fishing. LOL Cant wait for next year!!! Masshole - You did great buddy!! I am so happy for you crushing your PB. Doesnt get much better than that. Thanks for the extras too. Sorry to hear about the luggage issues. Like I said, STAND ON THE DESK AND YELL. Someone will listen to you. Jimzee (and wife) and AJ - Best development of a pattern on a new lake I have ever seen. These guys got on a pattern, stuck with it and blew it up. On top of that, shared the info with everyone that asked and even gave up the hot spots on the lake. That says a lot about your characters. I am sure that DD is right around the corner too!! Glenn and Keri - Great website you have here. Thanks for bringing all us crazy people together for a week. I had a great time. Long Mike - That is a great guy right there. Many people see the guy that yells about proper spelling. I got to see the real person all this week and he is top notch. Dont worry Mike, I wont tell too many people about you. To the presenters (JJ's Magic, Sure Life, KVD Line & Lure, and Bob Lusk), great products and information. Click on the banners and buy from the sponsors!!! They are some good people. Anyone else I forgot, I am so sorry. Trust me that your company will not soon be forgotten. CANT WAIT FOR NEXT YEAR ALREADY!!! Wayne
  5. Hey, I resemble that remark. My name is Chipper. I need another cold one, in my new hat!!!!
  6. MMMM, nothing better than steak and the Atlanta Braves!!! I think I am moving to Tennessee....
  7. Well, I cant take it any more. I am leaving in 1/2 hour to go finish packing. Told my boss this morning that I probably wouldnt make it the whole day. She said "No problem" 8-)
  8. Sounds like shorts weather!!!!!!!! JUST A REMINDER TO THOSE WHO MAY NEED IT.... Bring some type of waterproof clothing. I am sure, as Murphy's Law would dictate, that at some point you are going to need it!!! Wayne
  9. Anyone notice that the police cruiser in the new concrete is a Pennsylvania State Trooper? I have seen that pic before and it makes me laugh every time. Aint karma something.....LOL j/k
  10. LOL, are we there yet? I am sitting here looking at those new Shadalicious and they look like they need to get wet!!!
  11. LOL, that is more than I paid for my boat.
  12. Hey buddy, dont get too comfortable with that levee. I think the people from New Orleans might have a few stories for you. Glad to hear you are safe though. Stay prepared for anything!!!
  13. WOW, there is a blast from the past..... Good to see you post again!!!
  14. OH YES, YOU ARE CORRECT IN THAT....
  15. LOL, when I type that I have an idea in my head how it sounds.... Kinda like a chubby, out of breath kid saying it between gasps LOL
  16. I vote that we give the extra money to you for doing a lot of this leg work or to Glenn for the pavillion rental. Or......pad the tip like you suggested b/c I am sure southern hospitality will be at its finest at Guntersville. Either way...... VIVA LA GUNTERSVILLE!!!
  17. The guys on here who throw them all the time would tell you its dumb to NOT throw them. Your bass easily have the capability of eating 6" and larger baitfish, so yes, they will work. This is funny b/c two months ago, I thought the same exact way. After having it explained to me by those who know what they are talking about, it definitely makes more sense now. Like Branuss said, be prepared to go without sometimes....
  18. Cajun Red Line is translucent so the light is able to pass through it. Daiichi Bleeding Bait hooks are not translucent so the light refracts and causes it to be visible. JT Bagwell Spoken like someone without any knowledge of physics. Colors that you see are the colors that are refracted back. All other colors of the spectrum are absorbed. Hence red is RED. Now he invisible part. Water is a different medium than air therefore light behaves different. The stuff in the water is absorbing wavelenghts too. Visible Light Deminishes. The longer wavelelengths in the red spectrum are absorbed more rapidly. Hence RED Disappears. RED HOOKS Catch fisherman. ;D Fish see Red hooks and Red line About the same. Red does a disappearing act in the water. Has nothing to do with "They Bite Red Better" but you will beleive the Marketing. Wow, spoken like someone..... Forget it, not even worth it.... *edit* Chatterbait, if you feel that something gives you an added edge, then it is benefitting you in some way, shape or form. Confidence is a big part of this game.
  19. Maybe he weighs more than a sack of feathers Welcome aboard. I feel ya on the stability thing, but honestly once you get out in it I am pretty sure you will get some "sea legs" and you will be just fine.
  20. LOL, thats what I like to see. Famous swimbait maker talking about throwing a buzzbait. I LOVE IT!!!!! I only catch little bass, but from what I have seen on here swimbaits gotta be the one.
  21. http://www.weather.com/outlook/recreation/outdoors/tenday/USAL0255?from=36hr_topnav_outdoors LOL, PA WEATHER CAN KISS MY ARSE NEXT WEEK!!!!!
