Glendale is a nice lake, a little big for the 20hp restriction. Definitely some big fish in there, especially the musky. Canoe Creek has some absolute pigs in it, just gotta hit them right. The spawn there can be pretty amazing. Great place to bowfish for carp too!! River trips are a great way to get out of the heat. Most of my fishing has been done down around Mount Union and below the dam at Raystown.

Very humble in defeat, congratulated Forest, and said he got his butt whipped. A truely classy post fight interview and didnt make any excuses. Just said that he got beat. I never liked Rampage, but after his post fight interview, I have gained more respect for him. I liked Rampage before, found him very entertaining. After watching that post fight interview, I have even more respect for him. He surprised me with his reaction in a very good way.....big props to him. Chris Lytle is a BEAST (even in defeat)!!! If you can lose that much blood and still be swinging for the fences and intelligently defending yourself, ya either got some serious guts or some serious issues. Either way, as a fan I like it. Thats the first thing I thought when I saw the still shot the other day. We cant see You tube videos at work and I really thought he was bouncing the kid to someone to catch... While that would still not an intelligent or safe practice, I would have never thought he was just letting the child fall. With no regard for human safety on his part, should there be any regard for his safety in punishment? I think not.... :-X

I am not a rod builder, but Alpster did make one for me. I believe it has this reel seat on it (hopefully not mistaken Ronnie ) I love the feel of it and I am not....how should I put it.....small at all. It may be the fact of an uneducated hand on my part, but it feels perfectly comfortable to me. Not sure man, PM Ronnie maybe? LOL Obviously he will know what he used. Wayne

In all your expert opinions and experience , have any of you noticed that a certain brand of buzzbait doesnt seen to foul up with grass as much as other brands? I was using a Booyah Counter Strike last weekend and it seemed to not collect as much grass as a couple other buzzers. Anyone have a suggestion? Thanks, Wayne

Last weekend, my partner was putting the Megastrike on his Cavitron to help it come through the surface weeds a little better. Definitely noticed a difference before and after the application.

I'll add a little to it... Dont just think you have to spray this on mono/fluoro....put it on your favorite braided line and watch how much longer it holds its color. Also makes it RIDICULOUSLY easy to untangle backlashes. Bottom line....Its the sheet.

I believe Reel Magic is petroleum based and tends to attract and collect dirt and debris in your reel's working parts. KVD Line and Lure is one of the best products I have ever used. Very rarely do I use something that far exceeds expectations....this is one of those products.

Congrats Al, we are all hoping for your safe return. I went hunting on Ft. Stewart a couple years ago and I gotta say, they had some impressive pics at Pass and Permit. We still get a chuckle about the UXO signs on the building....we saw all kinds of cool stuff walking through the woods there LOL

Partner and I fished a small tourney last weekend. While moving along the shallow weed edges, two different pods of nice sized bass were seen. First pod w/ 3 fish, second w/ 2. Obviously, they saw the boat and were not waiting around to say "Hi" What is your strategy for these type of fish? Will they bite in a reasonable amount of time? What techniques do you recommend? Lower, realistic expectations are easier to achieve and exceed. In the beginning, exceeding your own expectations leads to confidence. We all know what confidence tends to lead to... BTW, always have a contingency plan. It has been said numerous times on here before; there are thousands of guys/gals who dont make it big for every single one that does. Make sure you have a plan to put food on your table if you dont make it to the big leagues. In other words, "Hope for the best, prepare for the worst."
