Be careful. While that 2.5oz weight may give you a general feel for a lure that heavy, dont forget that you likely wont be able to cast a swimbait that far. Also, your best practice is gonna come on the water. Tie on your lure that you made and hit the ponds!!!

With the recent downturn in the price of oil, I was wondering if anyone has seen it reflected in the price at the pump. Most places around me are 3.89 right now, but there is a "Flying J" truck stop on I-81 currently selling gas at 3.53. What are you seeing?

Ok, a few things near the end of your statement there... 1. 1200cc Harleys are not big. 2. 50-80 MPG does not happen on Harleys. Scooter looks cool for short rides and maybe cruising around in the pits, other than that I think your money would be better spent on an actual scooter if your intent is to save on gas.

I really agree that the Okumas (only read about, dont have one) are probably the best deal out there, but they are actually $110. I know its only 10 bucks, but under 100 is the request... they used to be 99.. what happened... http://www.okumafishingteam.com/rods/conventional/gsswimbait.html The LINK says they have several at 99.99 I believe the only issue w/ that is the fact that you will pay shipping. Shipping for a rod that large will likely be considerably more than the $10 difference if you were to get it from TW.
