  1. Here is the big dumb arse himself....Smuckers
  2. Anyone else find this title amusing? I will go on record and state my preference for beaver over tube any day of the week. ;D
  3. Can't add anything there. Owner stuff all the way around Russ.
  4. Just remember....the more people that believe only Kalifornia fish will eat a "HUGE" 7.5 inch 3:16 bait or an "ENORMOUS" 9" Slammer, the better it is for me.
  5. That is a freakin' tough looking boat!!!!
  6. I would be on lake points with a jerkbait or spinnerbait. If you can find a protected cove that is getting a good bit of sun, I would be in there with the flipping shtick. Off color water warms faster, so that would help too. Cant go wrong with fishing the rip rap either.
  7. He is making a bait, not looking to buy one.
  8. I plan on it about 30 days from now.... ;D
  9. Mike, at 3-3.5 MPH what are your typical settings as far as the chart speed and sensitivity? Any other controls that you think are exceptionally important? I bought one of these things last year and still dont feel exceptionally confident that I am seeing what I am supposed to. I have scheduled three different days w/ people at the KY lake Roadtrip who have this sonar, but I would like to know your general stats. Those pics are awesome!!!
  10. The 3:16 stuff seems to be a more subtle bait that the slammer, given that the retrieve is the same. The slammer, to me, is a noisier overall bait. Both serve their purposes with the 3:16 obviously winning in the realism department. Sometimes noisy is the ticket, sometimes its not. You know what your bait is intended for....
  11. Using Owners to switch out factory hooks. ST36 and 41 like Keith said. Owner makes a great split ring too.
  12. I didnt know he was a biologist. No wonder he is a stick.
  13. Robbie, echoing what Fluke said... You should hear Bob Lusk speak about what he does. It is a very informative and entertaining session. The guy flat-out knows how to grow fish to their potential. He builds a pretty dam good lake too. LOL He is a member here, PM him. He has answered questions for me in the past and each one turned out to be spot-on.
  14. Maybe the fishing gods will look kindly on you for your service this year. Meadowgrounds tourney win perhaps? ;D Thank you for your service
  15. This sounds good to me right now.... http://www.weather.com/weather/tenday/USKY0975?from=36hr_topnav_undeclared Put the Frogg Toggs on and saddle up.
  16. While I am sure it was said in jest, the idiot comment was a bit harsh. Robbie, I wont hold it against you for liking him ;D
  17. What about it? The fish apparently moved its fin while he was taking the pic. Why the embarrassed smiley? :
  18. Now that would give you some nice steaks.... Sharks have always fascinated and terrified me at the same time.
  19. Lopsided Booby Lover?
  20. Land Between the Lakes? :-?
  21. Hmmm....Shivering in the cold, freezing rain? Are we going to Guntersville again? :-? Mike, I will have a cold one ready for you on Saturday night to reward all your hard work.
  22. Atta boy Burley!!! What time of day do you want to work out in Kentucky? ;D I'm sure there has to be a gym down there somewhere...
  23. Dang man. Last year I went to Guntersville with Ronnie and all his high end Shimano stuff. This year Kentucky and that line-up? This ought to be interesting ;D
  24. I had a great time there as well. Chicken feet for everyone!!!!!! I just looked at the credit card bill....I'm happy that BPS doesnt carry swimbait stuff. :-[ See some of you in a month, others later in the year.
