  1. Muddy, I wouldnt try to remove them at first. Give this a try. Drill a hole with the smallest bit you can find. Take some superglue and drop it down the hole, glueing the ball bearing in place. This will keep your bait the same weight and it will also silence it. The smaller hole will also be easier to plug up when you want to throw the bait again.
  2. Look, yesterday we poked a little fun at you. You were advised by one of the mods to help along the way and the thread was closed. It appears that you didn't heed the advice given, so I will try to help you out. For those of you that know me, I know this is a stretch. ;D It's great that you are excited about bass fishing. Telling "fishing stories" is part of the game, but they have to be marginally close to the truth. Seriously, take a look at what you wrote and tell me that you are being remotely honest about your day? If not, man up and say it wasnt entirely the truth. If you still think it's the truth, well.... : Your future interactions on here might not be as courteous. ;D Really, chill out and enjoy the place. Dont stink it up with
  3. Pick up one of the BPS Extreme combos. They are always on sale and you will likely find something around your price point.
  4. Please list all the available colors (with item numbers, of course) for the Zoom Finesse worm. How many cups of water are there in the Tennessee River system? Do you have an alter ego named "Bassboss"?
  5. Do you know how to fish a Senko? Thanks for all the help.
  6. Boy, the lure sophistication today has left me in the dust :-/ Roger, I know its not the classiest name in the bunch. Just quoting one that I have seen.
  7. Pinch and pull man.... Pinch and pull.
  8. Nice man. PM to ya.
  9. I really wish we had some lakes around me with some matted grass. I love a good frog/toad bite. Bobby, sent you a PM a couple days ago. Get it?
  10. Appears you were punished in some medieval way. Tarred and haired? ;D Seriously though, those are some very nice fish.
  11. Ever used one of Matt's baits? I am not going to criticize you for not paying $70 for a bait, but you might want to see some of his stuff in person. They are taxidermy quality baits that catch mountable quality fish.
  12. I cant say I have ever agreed with you more than I do right now.
  13. I have some family in Vermont with a 22 acre lake butting up against their property. When I was up there in April this year, I had a streak at the end of a day where I caught 15 in a row and 18 out of 20, at which point it was too dark to see. None of the fish were under 2.5lbs, all smallmouth on a jerkbait. It's not too difficult to get me to visit the family in VT. ;D
  14. Keith, I am accusing you of being very bored.
  15. I think there was a tube in your gift bag. I'll send you another with the bluegill. I'll try to get them out tomorrow. 8-) Oh, I still have that one. He is talking about the Yamamoto Megastrike
  16. Ryan is your hero ;D
  17. CWB, let me know how many tubes of that you get. Wouldnt mind trying one if you can part with it. Let me know
  18. Nikon D40. Best investment I have made in a while.
  19. Take your camera, mook
  20. Forgot to add in the OP, I put my buddy on his first swimbait fish during this trip as well. I hooked him up with a 6" Triple Trout, gave him some general retrieve info and let him start chucking away. About 1/2 hour later, he loaded up on what looked like a 2.5-3lb largie that shook the bait at the boat. He just sent me an email wondering when the next TW order is going to be ;D And another one is born....
  21. Sinker. Thinking about getting a floater this weekend for deadsticking.
  22. Chicks dig it. Well, one did anyway.... ;D
  23. Night time wakebait bite
