  1. Yeah man, I get it. You have some of the best numbers, I see that. You win. I am just curious as to why add all those products while writing off the Megastrike products without trying them? You have gone out of your way to demonstrate that you are not closed-minded, so I can only surmise that you have some specific reason to not try the products?
  2. The Shimano Cardiff 300 is the best swimbait reel for the price. Ask Fourbizz or Don M
  3. You mean this? I don't read it that way at all. I take it as refering to all products. I think the next post in the thread clears that up for you. Strange to hear you so against change when two years ago you were singing the praises of Gene Larew products exclusively and now its Team Ragetail too. If you never tried a Rage product, you would not know how much you like or dislike them. All he is saying is how do you know until you try? You don't.
  4. It has some flex to it with baits in the 2-3oz range, but it is not nearly as slow as a crankbait rod. The 7'6"H is regarded as a good all-around rod. The MH tops out at 3oz, that may have a more attractive action for you.
  5. I drink a lot of water. I like to pee. What can I say?
  6. You're the one who said he was unwilling to try different things because what you do works. Take your own advice. Just sayin...
  7. Winchester SX3 Pimpin' ;D
  8. Because when rigged appropriately, a wacky rig will be weedless. I agree with you on the rooster tails and exposed treble lures. I'll add throwing horny toads to you list of fish catchers in those situations.
  9. Oh hell yeah. New shotgun came in on Friday last week. Doves will be a good warm-up for geese and ducks in the coming months. I look forward to 9/1 every year.
  10. Oh, he truly is the grumpy animal version of me. For sure. ;D
  11. Hey Catt, he's got a point there. If you do what you've always done, maybe you'll never know your potential. There is a new one for you to quote.
  12. Kitty Kat
  13. What does PWNED mean? Owned. It's dumb, trust me. ;D
  14. Great fish Randall. That herring is tearing up this year.
  15. Wacky rigged Zoom Finesse worm = money. Just keep walking around the bank, throwing in front of you. You'll keep catching fish until you are out of worms.
  16. I use the TT as well. I like the tungsten head on them, great feel. I tend to drag the jighead in addition to "shaking" it. I like to had the added feel of the tungsten.
  17. Micro, you can't go wrong with the Okumas. http://www.***.com/Okuma_Guide_Series_Big_Bait_Casting_Rods/descpage-OGSBBR.html I have the 7'6" H and the 7'11" XH. The 7'6" throws the Mattlures Hardgill and baits of that size perfectly. I have thrown a Hudd with it, but the rod starts to get overpowered at the top of its weight rating (5oz).
  18. Whether I'm impressed or not is of no value, it's whether the fish is impressed. I do not use any scent to try and bolster size or numbers and I'm assuming they work. To me it's like an athlete using performance enhancing drugs. There is enough technology out there already for me, better rods and reels, better lines, hooks, better and more realistic looking lures, fish finders and underwater cameras..........how much of an edge does one need? As many as I can get. I like to catch fish, period. PED's? You really went there? ;D
  19. I don't use the Cavitron because I can't get it in a 1/2 oz version and I also can't get one with a clacker on it. Personally, I prefer both those characteristics in a buzzbait. I have used the Shake E2 jigs with some success, but I find Tru Tungsten jigheads smaller and less obtrusive to fish. The less unnatural feeling things a fish feels, the better. I am partial to Booyah Baby boo jigs based solely on their head design. I feel it comes through "things" better. There ya go. Wayne
  20. I use Megastrike with different applications for different reasons. 1. On swimbaits, especially the large soft plastic baits, it helps the bait slide through grass as well as out of the fish's mouth on a hookset. 2. On jigs and slow moving baits, I feel the addition of Megastrike gives the fish something natural to "taste" when they pick it up. I put it on ALL my jig trailers and Tx rigged worms. 3. The biggest help that Megastrike gives ME is confidence that I am doing another thing right. If you do enough things right, success will follow. Anyone who has ever fished with me will tell you that Megastrike has a permanent spot in my boat. There is always one bottle on the deck somewhere and at least two more in the front pouch of the tackle bag. Between Megastrike and JJ's (when I need some color, too) I don't use any other scent products. Wayne
  21. those things are tanks !!! i would never use one of those things , they weigh over 10 ounces !!!!! OMG!! 10oz!!! OMG!! The 100b Calcutta weighs .5oz more than a winch. I like both Shimano and Abu, but you take Abu fandom to Dodgeguy/Fireline levels sometimes. :
  22. or... :-X Congrats on a difficult endeavor. What part did you (pj) have in getting the sponsorship? What have you done? Here is a question: What is your approach to getting a shop to carry XYZ products?
  23. Great review and I agree 100%. Pinnacle is going to be making some loyal fans with these rods.
  24. PA, MD and KY this year. Here is a thought about the "national license" debate: Start another thread. That is about as bad a hijack as I have ever seen... :
  25. I like it. ALOT!!! PMed you a question...
