  1. Have seen the 8' Flippin' stick in action and used it for a limited amount of time. Seemed like a good stick for their relatively small retail cost. The reels are too new, don't know how much feedback you will get on those.
  2. LOL, don't get me wrong. I'm not saying I wouldn't participate. I just hope no one gets their panties (or Depends) in a bunch when I tell them to go *&^% off and/or tell you which part of my anatomy to kiss. Just sayin'... ;D
  3. Honestly, I think you hit the nail on the head with the last part. I don't see people being able to keep it civil or "turn it off" on the regular boards. There are other places to go vent.
  4. I thought I smelled dust and heard the sound of Matlock in the background.... and there you are. ;D
  5. Nice. Seriously though, with as much time as you spend on Ebay buying things (based on your questions in the Tackle Forum) you really should have a scale by now. Even something cheap is better than nothing...
  6. LOL, maybe with less filters too. ;D
  7. I call BS. If you had to pick one, I would bet on a Zoom Finesse worm, likely pumpkin in color with the tail dipped in chartreuse JJ's. Close? ;D
  8. 150k and under
  9. Potentially traveling there next weekend to meet up with some of the VA mafia. Anyone have info on the lake other than what turns up in the rudimentary google/yahoo search? Gracias.
  10. Just a little hilarious FYI.....The OP is a police office. ;D
  11. its not a "certified" world record. It still shows you how big bass can get and its bigger than any other one caught. Just because it didnt meet the standards to be the official record (just cause it was fowl hooked) does not take 5 pounds off of the fish. Its still 25 pounds. oh and by the way when i said the 22 of 25 biggest have come from california i wasnt trying to brag for california i was just saying 24 of the 25 biggest bass have come from the US while japan is the only other country on there that has a fish in the top. Correction, they have THE fish ON TOP. No other fish matter at this point, IMO, only the next fish that is bigger. Dottie was a great looking fish, but it's still not the record. Argue until you are blue in the face, doesn't matter to me. There is a reason Mike Long, Mattlures, WRB and other Cali bass guys don't "officially" report their big catches: 1. They don't want people knowing where the fish are being caught. 2. If it's not "The One" then who really cares if it's certified or not?
  12. LEOs are given more relaxed rules for carrying. I recently had a LEO friend tell me that the policy will typically keep you out of jail but not out of court (for LEO carrying out of state).
  13. Had a HP 9mm and couldnt get that thing to fire more that two consecutive shots. Disassembled many times, cleaned, lubed, tried different mags. They are ugly and heavy. I will say that they are accurate (if you can get it to fire). There are much better options if you save up some nickels. Perhaps consider purchasing a used pistol.
  14. ^ He caught the one fish. Happy?
  15. It's big, clear, deep and weedy. I fished there about a month and a half ago. I like to consider myself a pretty decent fisherman. I caught nothing from first light until after noon. Among 4 people fishing in two different boats, one fish was caught. Difficult, to say the least.
  16. It's hard to get excited when you live in a state that considers them the birds of peace, love, and all things good in life. They've been sitting on the telephone lines across the road all summer. When should I go out and scare them to south for you? I look at them that way too. Then I realize how delicious they are and I squeeze the trigger three times.
  17. I heart fat chicks Posted before, but the colors on this bass were awesome.
  18. Hershey Gardens by my wife.
  19. I will refrain from comment, other than:
  20. Depends on what you are throwing. For lipless floaters (Mattlures Hardgill, 3:16 Freestyle Shad and Herring) and Randall's slow sinking High Power Herring, I prefer the Curado 301 for the faster retrieve speed. They can be had for around 200, most of the time under that amount. I really, really like to burn the baits mentioned and seem to get most of my strikes this way. Honestly, with a fast reel, you can slow down to a crawl. It's tough to match going the other way, wishing you could crank it faster than you will be able to with a slower reel.
  21. I guess you may never know what might have been... :) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) ;) :
  22. The stats are the reason I don't feel the need to switch to Megastrike! No I would not consider the "products" if a 1/2 oz buzz was offered, I would only consider the buzz only. The buzzbait (if it were made) is a PRODUCT. Made by Megastrike. By asking for feedback as to what people want and/or what might make people try Megastrike product(s), he is looking to potentially provide those things. What part of this are you not grasping? ;) ;) ;) ;)
  23. Right over your head... Feedback is what the man needed, not your stats. You gave feedback. You would consider the products if a 1/2oz buzzbait were offered. Get it now? :) ;) ;) ;) ;)
  24. Yeah? Try living here. ;D The people who visit during the summer are not-so-affectionately known as "bullet diggers." ;D
  25. Was that so hard? That is the original intent of the thread and it echoes what others have said. Nowhere before this post did you give any criteria that you may try the product, only alluding to the fact that you WOULDN'T try the products. Mission accomplished.
