I believe in the version that I saw, the malfunction was blamed on reloaded Chinese ammunition. It may have had some type of "spin" put on it, but that is what I saw. From the other pics, I believe it was a S&W that blew the top off. Those things are built like tanks too.

High Power Herring Better than both baits mentioned as far as action and durability. I have thrown mine off rocks, boat docks, pilings, etc and have not busted the bait up. Throw the RS or Spro against those and see what happens. The Tylures is a nice looking bait as well, although I do not have any to share personal experience.
