  1. You'll like that color. I have an OG in Nude Black, looks great in the water.
  2. One is the gateway to more. Trust me.
  3. In my sig. Fishing for 6 months, hunting for 3 and bittching about winter for the other three.
  4. LOL, nah we're good here.
  5. LOL, my lucky streak continues. I made it through vacation without losing anything of value, however multiple Baitsmith Mags were lost from the back of the boat and another 250 cast off. Only a matter of time until the black cloud settles over me I'm sure.
  6. By your comments of "happy customers" and "generating repeat business" I'd guess you maintain some type of online or retail establishment? Your goals and the goals of Joe Shmo selling some equipment are likely very different.
  7. The shipping time frame is listed as part of the auction and you still bid on the item. If you really had an issue with the time frame, ask your "why so long?" questions before hitting the bid button. Seems to me you're getting concerned over nothing. If anything, at least he is upfront about how long it will take.
  8. LOL, if you go back, give me a yell. I "need" some stuff.
  9. So....when you taking me?
  10. LOL, bring your paddling arms for a kayak tourney on Stonewall. That's a looooooong lake.
  11. I agree that everything possible should be done to protect the resources we have available to us. I won't dispute that as it seems like a pretty common sense approach to maintaining the fish we love. I'll still steadfastly hold to the notion that a true vertical hold on green fish does nothing to harm them. Please see the example here: That's 11lb 1oz of goodness. Why do I post this pic? Because the guy holding it was commissioned to autopsy the most famous US bass ever caught. His name is Steve Pagliughi. He is actually a biologist living in California, sticking GIANT fish on the regular. He will also state that a TRUE vertical hold, as you see in this example, does nothing to harm a fish's jaw. I applaud the message in the OP. Fish care is important. I cringe when I see the "Jimmy Houston hold" pics with the jaw getting jacked and the fish sticking out parrallel to the ground. That is bad. I actually take photos both ways of big fish in an effort to get the best portrayal of a fish's size. I believe keeping fish out of the water too long for pics does much more harm than a true vertical hold. Just my opinion. Good topic for discussion.
  12. The vertical hold does not break the jaw provided it remains vertical. Trying to hold it like the bottom pic without supporting the back end can and does injure the jaw.
  13. LOL, luckily Hudds are the highest $ bait I've lost. Unfortunately, I've been in the boat with guys who've casted off High Power Herrings and Deps 250s. Ouch.
  14. I'm notorious for forgetting to retie. I also forget to be versatile when the situation calls for it. I'm pretty stubborn.
  15. Some of the toughest SOBs I've ever met were farmers. Happy for his progress so far.
  16. The savage gear 6" would be another viable option that I'd have a ton more confidence in than the castaic.
  17. There are better options out there. Hudds or 316 Rising Son would be a better choice for baits around the 6" mark.
  18. Gander Mountain Tech2O
  19. Check the Southeast section on here and get ahold of a member named Wayne P. He knows Briery.
  20. I have a few that I've seen in the water. Hopefully in the not too distant future, you'll all see one or more OUT of the water.
  21. Did you already place the order for the Little Booger? If you have not, add some of the 3:16 soft bait glue to your order and you can do the modification you mentioned.
