  1. Glock 43 for me. But it’s not a true pocket pistol. It’s an inside the waistband pistol.
  2. I’m about to fish my small cranks like Bandit 100s on a *** Defy MH ($59 at Tackle Warehouse) with a Shimano Spirex. I know a lot of guys don’t like the trigger spinning reels but you can fish them faster than manually opening the bail. And cranking to me is about covering water.
  3. I don’t think the bass care if your boat and truck match.
  4. Threw the Redeye in Sexy Shad last fall and had some fun. The Cordell Spot is a very economical option though.
  5. I have a Sienna too. Just getting started putting it through its paces. I like it so far. An inshore guide I went out with had them on his rods and said they held up well in the salt. He had them spooled with Momoi.
  6. I’m really surprised how many guys on here like short rods. When I got back into fishing seriously nearly 4 years ago, anything more than a 6-foot spinning rod felt totally foreign to me. Then I got a 6-6 spinning rod and loved it and I started playing with baitcasters. My first baitcasting rods were 6-6. Then I bought a couple 7 footers then a 7-3 that I just love. Just acquired a couple 7-6 rods and I imagine an 8 footer is in my future. I love the long rods. You can get a bait way out there and the length helps in playing fish too, especially with a parabolic action. Make mine a 7-3 to 7-6 every day. I do own a 5-6 ultralight for panfish but hadn’t used it in awhile because I favor the 6-6.
  7. Don’t know about the Diawa but I have a Trion and I like it. Just finished one season with it. It’s nice and smooth. I’m not convinced it’s not a better reel than the President.
  8. Whip his ass, sea bass!! I’m just kidding. An old state trooper used to teach defensive driving here. He said “Don’t get in s stinking contest with a skunk. They’ll out-stink you every time.” Oh, yeah, and Georgia is going to curb stomp OK.
  9. I bought the H2O bibs and jacket at Academy. Caught em on sale a year or so back and actually got both pieces for $100. I dunno how it compares to the higher dollar stuff but it’s nicest raincoat I’ve owned. I got a $100 bill burning a hole in my pocket after Christmas and not sure what I’m going to do either.
  10. You know this for sure, but I’d check that wood transom to make sure it’s solid.
  11. Beautiful Fish. Be proud you got it.
  12. I’ve caught fish on the 90, never the 130. I want to get and try a 110. Caught several on the 90 but no big fish.
  13. My 1998 Triton TR 19 dual console with Mariner Magnum 175.
  14. Always in the boat unless I’m in a tourney where firearms in boat are against the rules.
  15. I been throwing a sexy shad One Knocker. I love rattlebaits anyway. Hadn’t killed em but I’ve caught a few. Yo-yo retrieve mostly.
  16. Most of my stuff is in Plano boxes in one compartment on my boat. I’m bad to toss the packs of soft plastics I tend to use most often in the passenger console glove box. I think I actually find them quicker there. I’m in the process of paring down to stuff I most often catch with - Traps, squarebills, trick worms, Whopper Plopper. I ain’t done nothing with swim jigs and chatterbaits and I’m disappointed with that. Gonna try to learn shakeyhead over the winter. If it ain’t catching for me, I ain’t gonna tote it much longer.
  17. I like fishing with people and I enjoy fishing alone. There is just something magic about being in a cove all by yourself catching a few. Sometimes there can be compatibility issues with a partner. He like jigs in slop, you like Rat-L-Traps and squarebills. You can short change yourself and the partner.
  18. Very nice!
  19. I’ve bought three rods from Tackle Warehouse. They’re awesome. Super fast shipping. Even got a free T-Shirt last time.
  20. That's a heck of a casting deck. I like it. A lot. I'd have to add a fishing seat though.
  21. Seems like every time I find the killer bait, they quit biting it the next time out. But Guntersville bass are fickle like that it seems.
  22. I'd take my $59 and buy something else. Not a fan of the President. I did add a cheaper Pflueger Trion to the arsenal this summer and I've enjoyed it. I'm a Shimano fan.
  23. That's what I'm talking about! New PB!
  24. Will it pull a boat?
  25. Swim jig and chatterbait. I know these are great baits but I've caught next to nothing on them. Caught a big drum on a swim jig. I've got to figure out how to make these work.
