Hey all, this is my informal fishing report based off of my experiences in the residential lakes in West Pines I'm Broward County. I've noticed lately quite a few people asking about fishing in Broward County so I figured I would share my experiences of the past two weeks fishing.
the lakes I've been fishing have been higher than normal and really clear waters at about 66 degrees Fahrenheit my fish finder picks up a lot of fish at 10 to 17 feet. Some suspended and some are on ledges. So far top water and so slow fished Texas rigged worms on ledges are working. The colors I use are the usual pumpkin seed, June Bug, watermelon. I've noticed the bigger bass are deep and haven't figured figured out their preferences yet but this is what I have so far. I hope this helps anyone struggling with the bite right now. Also I know there are a lot more experienced anglers out there and if anyone wants to add to this I'd be more than happy to hear how anyone else is doing.
