Having a hard time deciding which one to choose. Any pro/cons on either one? I know the specs are a little different but there is not enough difference to matter in my opinion.

I guess i am old enough to recall a time prior to foot control so i was talking about tiller controlled but i could not think of the correct term. Can a tier moint TM be mounted up front? It is less exspensive than trying to get a foot control unit as mu first one and i think from whatni have read it will be easier to control these little plastic pond boats. thoughts?

Can you mount a normal TM to the front of these? I believe they have a mount but i dont know much about TMs and i am not sure if it has to be ine of those foot control jobs or not. thx

Thanks a lot for the responce. The impression I get is that those squared off pond boats are tough to keep straight without a rudder. I am just uncertain how that works if you put a seperate rudder on which is nor conected to the trolling motor like some of the post refer to. Thanks again. I am really enjoying this forum

I know there are a lot of post about adding a rudder to this type of boat but instead of a sepreate rudder would a bullnose type rudder on the trolling motor work? I am not familiar with these and as I am starting to look into buying one I want to ensure I understand the best way to solve the stearing issue. If the rudder goes on the back and it must be seperate then the trolling motor must go on the front which will require a motor designed for the front or that method of mounting will cause the boat to go in reverse correct?
