Catt, question for you. Our camp is on Lanan Bay just south northwest of the 191 bridge. I haven't spent a whole lot of time fishing this because most of my tournaments are lauched out of the southern end of the lake. Taking your advice and spending a whole year concentrating on where I am. Taking in to consideration the time of the year, would you suggest i start towards the back of Lanan or just start at the mouth? The islands on the north entrance look the best to me.

Hey guys, new to this post and after reading all of it the past few days i can tell you the information here is awesome! I fished Toledo this past Saturday. Started in Pirates Cove on the big main lake island (south side). Fished 14' and up to the haygrass and around the island working my way north. Picked up a few dinks up against the hay grass (6') . When i got to the north side of Pirates, past the stump flat, i worked the hay grass going east and picked up a few solid fish (3 pounds) on texas rigged brush hogs. After that the wind picked up and since we had launched out of Fin and Feather decided to make a run back across the lake before it got too bad. Too late. Made it back to Housen with a broke trolling motor strap and the transducer hanging. Picked up a few more on carolina rig off the big bluff bank on south side of housen near the boat lane before heading back to the launch. Anyone do any good this past weekend? Might go back this weekend, though it looks like it'll be quite a bit cooler.
