Have you tried a copolymer yet? I think that is where I'm going to with my reaction baits. Doing the reviews it looks like Yozuri hybrid is the one you want.
Thanks for the heads up. I'm soon to be the proud owner of a few Bevy 75 shad. I read up on them, it sounds like they may be a better jerkbait than CB. Anyways at a 3 for the cost of 1 deal. I couldn't certainly refuse.
Anyone have any experience with the Loomis Xpeditor-program and is it as straight forward as it sounds? $75 or $100 for a new replacement rod no questions asked.
If you look on Ebay you can find new Daiwa Tatula reels for around $94. You could probably do the same with the other reels you are considering. My suggestion don't pay retail price.
I bought one but haven't used it yet. Got a similar deal to yours at BPS. Rod was on sale for $79.97. I had a gift card and credit card points so paid less than $35. I picked a ML 6'9" spinning rod. From the reviews I read it sounds like Abu Garcia rods run under power so a ML would be more like a M action rod.
Do a Google search comparing the Powell Diesel versus the Denali Jadewood J2. Alot of times I come up with threads from this website when I versus searches.
I'll probably grab a copolymer line to try this year. What brand are you guys recommending? And for what fishing applications is best to use a copolymer? Thanks.
I just feel weird about spending $325 on a fishing rod even though I walk around wearing fishing related shirts every day. I'm a forensic scientist so I make a professional wage but still feels like I'm sneaking to order a rod this expensive. How long does this feeling last so I can order my second?
