  1. Has anyone fished it recently? What's the lake temp right now? I heard rumors that it was spawn time there but just wanna hear what others have seen there recently.
  2. I have the V6 3.4L version. Rated for 3500. Thanks for all the input guys!
  3. So I'm going to be picking up a 2004 Nitro 700lx next weekend. I own a 2006 Toyota Highlander rated for 3500 pounds towing capacity. I was just wondering if I should have any issues towing the boat with that. The dry weight for the boat is 1200lbs and 90hp merc is around 400. Not sure what the trailer is but it's under my towing capacity. Total weight I'm guessing will be around 2000 minimum to 2500 max. Thanks. Edit: Also should I have problems when launching the boat with the highlander? Its front wheel drive but if it starts to slip 4wd kicks in right away. Also has switch to lower torque to prevent slipping
  4. Alright..I was looking at a Bass Tracker aluminum like the 17ft ones...I'm only 17 so i'm buying my first bass boat I want to fish tournaments. My parents have a 4runner sport edition that has 5000lb towing which they said I could use for towing the boat so I should be good with that I think. thanks!
  5. Hello I have a 2006 Toyota Highlander V6 3.3 that had a towing capacity of 3500 lbs. Would I be able to tow with it? I'm looking to get an aluminum bass tracker because they're light but i'd prefer a fiberglass...any reccomendations for a light rig? thanks
  6. I want to hear everyones favorite lures to use during the fall months! Mine is definitely a topwater walking bait!
  7. I was just up and the bite was completely OFF! My buds were up a week before me and slayed em like you were, then I got up there the 26th and all fish seemed to disappear...I was even snorkling and saw nothing but tiny fish up shallow. I went last year and SLAUGHTERED them caught an 8lb largemouth, this year barley any luck got a few 19" 3.5lb smallies but nothing much
  8. Look up Lake Thomas. It's very hard to fish because limited casting space but huge bass in there. Says private property but they don't mind lol
  9. I love my HMG. I have a 7' M/F and paired with my Shimano Ci4+ 2500FA and it's the best finesse setup ever.
  10. 17# Seaguar Abrazx
  11. Thanks for the reply. Unfortunatly I'm down to one setup right now and I leave for a trip on Friday. Only have the money for one rod at the moment. Do you think I could get away with using a MH with the jerkbaits? I'm throwing visions 110's..maybe thats why I only have enough for one rod right now haha
  12. So I'm wondering what sort of rod power I need to throw jerkbaits and finesse jigs (up to 3/8oz), I'm trying to get one setup to do both. I have 12lb Fluoro spooled up. I'm looking at probably getting a Medium/Fast rod. What are your opinions?
  13. I'm going to be fishing Lake George middle-late June this year. Any tips? Last year the water was about 65 degrees at that time. I did manage to pull out an 8 Pound Largemouth from about 10 ft deep of water. Trying to get another nice one this year, haha.
  14. I have the same exact reel and paired it up with the Fenwick HMG. Best finesse set up I've ever used. Only weighs 9.3 ounces reel and rod combined. I have 8lb Seaguar Invizix on it.
  15. I'm gonna be fishing the Lake late June, any tips for smallie and largemouth fishing in the middle/north side of the Lake? Thanks for any tips!
