  1. i prefer the buzzbait over the plopper. the buzzbait is more versatile. like someone mentioned you can fish it in messier situations.
  2. a booyah frog
  3. i like those dollar spinners. ive caught some decent bass on them.
  4. I read @A-Jays write up a few months ago and ordered a few burners. Caught me some really nice bass including my personal best of 5.5lb. they do tend to not swim straight after a few nice catches but other than the terminator t'1 I dont see any other spinner that always runs straight. im also a fan of the strike king tour grade night spinner. i bought a lot of them on tw's black friday sale, 30% off strike king products and i took full advantage of it.
  5. 5.4 on the popping perch
  6. i tie on a weaker leader on to my braid. i hate breaking off on a snagged lure and losing half my spool.
  7. when its dark i tie on a strike king tour grade night spinner bait and have gotten good results. also those 1 dollar black colorado spinners at walmart works great too. a bit small at 1/4 oz but its still castable in most situations and catch fish.
  8. the mouth on a post spawn 5lbs+ is huge. like putting a whole fist in huge.
  9. i hit up wilson lake on saturday. first time taking my slayer propel out. the whole lake was such a grassy slop that my propel drive got tangled up in that slop every other second. that and the wind made it a challenging adventure. which spots do you have in mind?
  10. Id offer space in my garage but its already filled up with my new kayak, which i didnt think a 10 footer would take so much room and with so much crap my daughter has. where are you going to store it?
  11. wow i didnt know trailers were that cheap! i just bought a roof rack for around the same price as one!
  12. broke my pb on the same holiday weekend a year ago. 5.5 lb, with a strike king burner in the shallowest of waters. i basically cast parallel to the bank.
  13. @ClackerBuzz, Hells ya bro, i just picked up my slayer 10 propel last week. im dying to get skunked on it!
  14. i use either one all the time. lately the spinner has been tied on more than the chatterbait. but thats because i find it more fun to fish a spinner bait.
  15. Slayer Propel 10. picked her up yesterday. dont even know when ill have time to get her on the water.
  16. V&M carries some
  17. Terminators T1's can take a serious beating and never needs to be re tuned.
  18. a dark colored chatterbait or a black colorado spinner. a black whopper plopper has worked for me as well in the summer months.
  19. Id like to add Newton. you can catch some snake heads there as well as bass. i typically throw chatter baits and spinners but soon will be tossing out frogs and other top waters. @ClackerBuzz wsup i thought we was supposed to hook up?
  20. a 6 pack of black blades for $20? thats some pricey blades man, almost the cost of an original chatterbait when it was on sale on black friday.
  21. we talkin about the 130 ploppers?
  22. Ive been using bill normans speed clips. they have a small profile and easy to use at night.
  23. Savage Gear Shine Glide. it helicopters when you cast it out. cant get any distance throwing it.
  24. 3.7lbs on the Strike King burner. because speed kills.
  25. that and a spinner bait is basically what i only throw. but yeah i lose a ton of them. i just nailed a 4 lbers on a peppers roumbler in some thick pads. its a unique bladed jig in that the hook is a ewg hook so the hook isnt exposed. im sure ill get it hung up in a few days though.
