  1. Awesome story..... "Re-inact it for us"..... ;D Thank god they didn't have to load or unload that thing!
  2. Creeks!
  3. Way to much un-certainty and randomness going on in nature to slap labeled percentages on it. I think... Cool way of looking at it though, thats pretty much how most fisheman, including myself, prioritize things.
  4. Living in Maryland to start!
  5. use braided line and never break a fish off again. Thats what I do.

Wow, bass fishing in Africa....too cool. And thats a PIG you have there...good job. Things aren't THAT different here. a 14lber is all but common. And I'd say a 9lber is un-common as well. Your doing great!
  7. A chilly 53 here in Jacksonville Florida. Expecting upper 60's this weekend. 8-)
  8. Being in Florida.....diving down to investigate good fishing spots sounds a little scary. We have a few un-friendly water creaters that like cover too. Would be cool though... If anything...I'll print out a satelitte image of the lake. And make markings on it should I need to. So yes....if a map is not available, go to it on google earth, print it out, and chart away!
  9. About what do you get per reel. Assuming still in decent working condition? Might have to make a drive to the Orlando BPS and check out this sale!
  10. Not without getting round-house kicked in the face!...lol Beauitul river! Awesome fish!
  11. Funny you ask. I lost my biggest fish this past weekend. Bass that is. I don't know how big it was (obviously) but it would have been my biggest probably. Just needs to be 8. I grabbed the line. DARNIT I GRABBED THE LINE!!!!!!!!!!! Shoot me before Denny Brauer does... :'(
  12. I'll second the I-Finder. It will do all you want and more. Though you HAVE to get the hot spots card with it. Don't just get the unit.
  13. Here's another one for ya. Friend of mine caught this guy... Stats were... 11lbs 14oz (weighed on 2 sets of digitals) 29.25" length 19.5" Girth BR Calculator says....16.36lbs !!!! Every bass is different....there is no formula.
  14. And Daniel...NICE 30lber!!! ;D
  15. This makes 2 years in a row my biggest fish came in November. Excellent chunk the lady has. Keep it up!
  16. I was recently shown an 80' hole on a lake. We were catching them off the bottom with drop shots. All dinks! Whodathunk it. And this is in Florida! Beat THAT! Depth Finder
  17. Whats a senco ;D Awesome fish man! Great pics!
  18. Must have nearly taken the rod out of hand when she hit! What color is that your using? Daddy-Bass? ;D
  19. According to weather underground. It was about 65 degrees when I caught her at 7:30pm I was a little chilly even in that sweatshirt. More to come!
  20. Florida baby. Were fish'n is a 24/7/365 situation! WooHoo!
  21. Lake Mandarin. Finally located the springs with a little help from the depth finder. Fishing in this lake is pretty good. Average a fish every half hour. And usually at least 2lbs. sometimes a 3, Gotten a few 4 pounders and had one pushing 7 Love this place! Nice to hit after the river hand it to ya.
  22. Many believe that shining a light to where a fish may be holding can spook them. I tend to agree and make sure I am very conservative with my light use, and never shine the light into the water.
  23. New 2 bass....you are too funny. Cool to see people get so excited over big fish....I do too!! Nothing gets 'em in ponds like that better than a senco. Keep it up!
  24. Got this guy night fish'n with the neighbor. Caught on a ghostbaits G-Stick (Senco) The best of 5 caught. thanks for looking!
  25. Definately not the gears or cable. Everything work great until the pinion in the head doesn't bite and spins withing the shaft. I can actually remedy it slightly by sliding the pulley gromit up on the pinion...this pulling the pinion to an angle making it bit better. Thinking of upgrading anyways. Will look around. Thanks for the tips!
