this statement contradicts itself. If there are no absolute truths then saying that there are no absolute truths would be an absolute truth, which disproves the statement that there are no absolute truths. hopefully that isn't even more confusing for you. I know what i mean but it is difficult to articulate. That actually more helpful. Thanks! Some dude in my class said "because the truth doesn't work for everybody." I'm like, isn't that what next question is asking?

Anyone good at philosophy and religious questions? If so, PM me. (if you want help me out) I'm working on study guide for test on Wednesday night and I'm kind of stuck on couple questions. My professor doesn't have office hours until tomorrow. Get you an idea of questions I'm looking at, is What is virtue? What is virtue ethics? Explain Plato's allegory of the cave and the divided line. What is problem with this statement "There are no absolute truths?" What is problem with "truth is what works for me?" etc. I have lecture notes from professor, but apparently, I missed the in-depth stuff. : P.S. I'm not posting the religious questions on here. Coffee sucks. I like Krispy Kreme donuts better than any food at Dunkins. I saw a guy the other day in library, drinking Dunkin Donuts coffee while eating Krispy Kreme donuts.

I hate Dunkin Donuts! Krispy Kreme puts them to shame. I also dislike Wendys burger. Although, Wendys 99 cents chicken nuggets is pretty good, along with spicy chicken wrap. However, I have to order two 99 cent nuggets (which would be 10 nuggets total) to fill me up. And I also eat two go-wraps to fill me up.

I found the source of who said the game was fixed. Turned out it was Phil Fulmer. Who would've thought. : I've been arguing with Tennessee fans all day that the game was not fixed, and if it was was then their precious Peyton Manning (who is consider the face of UT) is now tarnishing Tennessee's image.

Yeah, same! I think you can be civil with handful of people when it comes to politic, but trying discuss it with larger population, yeah, it not going work. There is a local forum for my town (I'm sure there is one for your town as well) and I was bored one day decided check it out. Basically any topic can go, talk politic, religious, anything. The problem I have with political discussion on that site, is that they are so far off and it not even funny. They try post discussions about an issue using numbers and none of the numbers made mathematically sense, and they all believed it. : :-X Needless to say, I quit going to the site, and every time I ride around town, I feel like I'm the smartest guy in town. ;D ;D

I have an awesome conspiracy theory, but it related to current financial crisis and little too political to be posted on here. IMO, I'm disgusted by the 9/11 conspiracy theories. Even ones about world trade center. Claiming someone planted a bomb in the building to make it collapsed. They also claim the jet fuel doesn't burn enough to melt the steel in the tower.

Holy Crap! My dad called me while he was in Knoxville today and said he bought me a cigar that I've been wanting to try. Long short story, it's a Padron! I don't know when I get a chance to smoke it since it blowing snow outside. If it was clear outside I would start a little bonfire, then old man and me will sit around it and smoke.

Dan, I thought of that too, but I was 18 years old wandering the street of Mexico. I was more curious towards tequila and booze than cigars. I was at this bar in Mexico, the guy charge me a 1.00 a beer, and then he went into a room next to bar, came back with a box of cigars and said "if you buy one, we all smoke with you." My friend and I turned around look behind us and a bunch of Mexicans were sitting down at a booth starring at us. ;D ;D Good times. I bought back a Jamaican rum. Almost bought a bottle of tequila with freaking scorpion in it.
