  1. Nice. I got a 1988 F-150 pick up truck. I cant wait until summer I'm try to get me a new truck maybe a tahoe. My parents and I are going try to get me a new one this summer. Good luck with it. Oh my truck got over 250k miles on it and still running
  2. My brother actually graduated from ETSU in 4 years. He had a weekend and summer job. Some of his friends however are in their 5th year however. Some graduates in 4 some graduate in 5. Guess it depends on the major. I hope to get out in 4. Good luck getting your degree.
  3. Well, yeah I know that. But I want to be involved with a company in a way of helping them come up with products and technique with that new products. Problem with me is I cant tell a company everything about me on a single application they just have to talk to me more, etc. Until they learn about all of my quality before they are giving a decieson about me. I'm just one of those person that cant explain all of my qualities and reasons why I would be a good person to sponsor on one piece of paper. I'll try to work on putting everything into one resume. I just feel you can learn more about me better while talking to me rather then reading about me. But back to my explanation being part of a sales is also like being sponsors (well not exactly) But hey if the guys that are sponsors are not promoting anything then you aren't making any profit. To me that almost same thing as being in sales. You got to promote and tell everything about the product in the end if they buy you are pretty much person responibile for that sale. Am I right? Anyway I'll try to work on my resume when I'm out of school on president day and see what happens. I hope one day get a chance to prove my worthy. ;D (I hope that didnt sound cocky)
  4. First off I'm 17 and I have experience in sales. Reason why I want to be sponsors is because I really love fishing. I want to compete in these tournament and since nobody hiring around here it hard for me to come up with money to get baits, gas, etc. All I wanted to do was do something for the company in exchange equipment to fish with. I love business and sales I was hoping if I could gain a sponsor at this point in life it could look good on my college resume and future jobs. Even thought my future job is professional fishing, but I got to pay for that somehow so when I'm trying to get a job in marketing, advertising, or sales and they read that I've been sponsor or I'm currently am sponsored. My sponsor could tell them I do an excellent job in sales and marketing. Basically I'm doing this to learn business for future jobs, and to gain relationship with companies in the fishing business for when I get older and ready to pursue a career in Bass fishing on professional tour. I'm just looking to gain long term relationship with companies for near future. Am I making sense or should I try to re-exlain?
  5. I dont like wal-mart. I have a good reason why too. I cant believe that joke I told got deleted. Gerald Swindle told me that joke.
  6. I've been looking around for some small company that looking for a pro/field staff. As I was thinking about how my grades could affect me getting a sponsor. Is it just subject wise or is it the entire GPA? Example I made an A in marketing and Principle of Business. Also made an A in several of my math classes execpt geometry (I still hate that class). I also didnt do too well in Chemistry, but I passed. But I manage a B in phyiscal science and Biology. So my real main question Just because I screwed up in Geometry and Chemistry is a sponsor really going to just reject me? I mean I have high business and math scores (if you exclude geometry). I believe it just personality, speaking skills, business skills, and how much you know about a product is what affect sponsorship. Just because I dont meet a 3.6 GPA or something a sponsor shouldn't just toss my application they should at least meet with me and see how my speaking skills and personailty is. I think that is just wrong. Take one look at a GPA and see just a 2.7 or a 3.0 and they'll be like "nope he cant do nothing for me." If I showed proof to a potential sponsor that I have high business scores and great personality they will take me seriously? What are your thoughts on this? You think sponsors should just reject a person because of two or three bad classes? By the way I got off saying about that because I read another post some where at the bottom about airrus will not consider you if you have below a 3.6 GPA. Just plain wrong. I just want to know what other companies are out there that do the same thing. So I'm trying to organize my thought on a resume and trying to how I can add my grades in there.

  22. I thought about selling my pflueger echlon and get a revo S reel. I'm put the revo on my airrus co-matrix. Just wondering if anyone can vouch for the revo s as being a reliable, smooth, reel for jig fishing. I'm use it to flip/pitch jigs around laydowns, docks, etc. So is it worth selling my pflueger and buy the revo S? Please dont tell me to get the Revo SX or STX I can only come up with 100.00.
  23. Anyone have a bass club in east tennessee around cherokee or douglas lake? Or anyone interested in helping me get started we both could start one. I dont want it afflitated by BASS or FLW I just want a simple bass club with atleast 15 boats. Nothing fancy just a simple bass club for guys that cant afford bigger tournament. Boaters insurance isnt neccasary because I cant afford it. I'm trying to get one started, but I dont know how to attract a decent amount of people. There a lot of tournament trails out around here bunch small one and I dont know if anyone wants to fish with my club. I was plan on doing a different format. Every tournament change the format. Like one weekend do a 2 day tournament by doing a shootout. One man vs another man in order to advance etc. Or one tournament do a 1 fish only weight in and another weekend do a 5 fish, etc. Just change format every tournament. Do some night tournament, some day tournament. I would love to get enough member for a march tournament and end in october. Entry fee might be 15-20 bucks a boat. Anyone want to try to start one?
  24. I'm not trying to disrespect anyone here, but why post resume here? Do sponsor actually come in here and pick out someone? Call me old fashion, but shouldn't you contact a sales rep and get friendly with them and then work out some sort of deal? Not trying to be disrespectful and rude, but i just want to know how you guys work in this forum. I just thought you contact sales rep and talk to them.
