  1. i love Minnesota, but when it comes to a fisherman's dream, try Anna Maria Island, off coadt of Bradenton, Florida. Shore fishing on Western shore for just about anything in the season, out my back door into Anna Maria Sound for redfish, black drum, flounder, snook, shark, sail fin cats, jacks, pompano, and mackerel. All assessable in my kayak or a walk to the beach. jump on a charter, and the sky is the limit. try it some time, you will not be disappointed
  2. Minneapolis has eleven lakes within its borders. You can catch panfish, walleye, northern, musky, and of course bass. I live in the western suburbs. We have two major rivers and hundreds of lakes and streams. And the fishing is very good. We are truly blessed here.

46 inch Amberjack. Dang near killed me. Cranked it up from 150 feet on a locked drag, and it managed to pull out 60 yards of line when it saw the boat. On a locked down drag.! toughest fish i ever boated except for a five foot lemon shark.
  5. Fly fisher and Darren, good information on facebook, l will check it out. Darren, nice job, is that motor modified by you, or sold that way? does it have factory remote speed control? also, battery life. How long can you fish? Assuming half speed both ways to and from, then normal trolling, positioning ecr?
  6. I have two Ocean Kayak Prowler 13s set up for fishing. I have decuded to add a trolling motor so I can expand my range. Purchasing new kayaks with power built in is quite expensive. To avoid a devorce, i need to keep cost at about $500.00 per upgrade. Any ideas? i am interested in hearing others experiences.
