About Me
<p>
Recently retired, I have been bass fishing since the 70's. I fished local and regional tournaments in the early years, 70's-90's but stopped fishing tournaments due to Family, Work, and also burnout from trying to fish 20-25 tourneys a year and fish every minute off, which was not healthy. I realized the importance of family, and decided to make the right decision, and am so glad that I did. I have a wonderful and very close family. Hopefully I plan to get back to local tourney fishing now that I have more time, it was worth the wait. I am very fortunate to live on the water, with access to the Pamlico River in Eastern NC. I have been truely Blessed.

Living in Eastern NC all my life and have fished the Chowan for years, yes there are many snakes, and some are cotton mouths, but I would say 90% of so called cotton mouth site-ings are brown water snakes, quick views can look like water mocs.
