  1. Went fishing in the St. augustine bayfront today with my son and a friend.
  2. That’s awesome Tom. Glad you went and got some fish!!
  3. Welcome @Reddmann0 !
  4. Ive caught more saltwater fish on stingray grubs on a jighead than anything else. Chartruese is my best color. I tip them with a small piece of shrimp. But I rarely fish artificials in salt anymore. Live or dead bait !
  5. Somebody gave me a bottle of some kind of garlic scent. It worked more like a repellent than an attractant for some reason...??‍♂️
  6. That first picture has got to be one of the biggest 4 pound bass pics Ive ever seen. Nice fish, and love your name...
  7. Look who’s coming to dinner when I was feeding the bream... Top center.
  8. Thats a beautiful fish!
  9. Got this one with a live bream just as the sun went down...
  10. Nice sheepies! They are so good fried. Where was that at?
  11. The worse thing that happened this year for me was my closest cousin died suddenly. My wife lost her job and is still unemployed. My business however did better, partially due to the virus. Thankful I still have food to eat, God and family to love, and a lake to fish in behind the house. .
  12. Spring. March through May. I usually fish afternoons. Overcast sky with a light breeze. Numbers and quality. I usually catch the biggest fish in summer though.
  13. I went surf fishing today at a spot at south ponte vedra beach Ive fished since childhood. Im sure Ive caught more fish there total than anywhere else Ive surf fished. Today was nothing to write home about, but It was fun to get out there. The big clod of seaweed was my hardest fight of the day but I prevailed ?. I did have something real big on a whole small whiting. Probably a shark but he came off somehow. Also had something bite a whiting off at the hesd as I was reeling it in. Ended up with 6-7 whiting , 4 bluefish, 2 catfish, a pompano and a palometa ( cousin to pompanos. Will have sore shoulders for awhile due to all the seaweed clumps I reeled it. Still, Ive had much worse days.!!
  14. Sorry, this is amazing...
  15. If you love country, you’ll love this... Although it’s bluegrass flatpickin’
  16. Picked this one off on a roostertail before work during the tropical storm .
  17. Mine is mostly related to the season. In the summer, Im on the water first light, done by 11 unless they’re still biting. Spring , fall and winter , I fish pm. About the only exceptions to that is when I saltwater fish from a boat, we usually leave early and its an all day event. The occasional hunting trip is always starting early too. I never set an alarm and wake up well before time to go every time...
  18. Saturday or sunday pm is usually good for me. Great idea!
  19. Work is slowing down so now I have time to fish ponds again in between stops . Got several on a watermelon seed super fluke...
  20. Find outlets where there is flowing water, even if its slow. Bass will stack up facing current waiting for bait fish to come through.
  21. Got off work early today and was on the water by 3 . Very windy ( gusts over 30) I caught several on some kind of havoc craw. Most of these were under docks. Also got some on a 10 1/2 inch ribbon tail worm. Also got a few on a bama craw yum dinger. Lost another big fish reeling the yum dinger across a grass bed. He clobbered it and somehow came off. Ended up with 11 .
  22. Im fixing to in the home lake in a little while. It’s warm , windy, and mostly cloudy. Seems like it might be a good spinnerbait day, and its always good with plastics!! Will post results later...
