Got out with @fishwizzard earlier today for some snakehead wrangling. We each caught one and I learned more about Sumo wrestling than I ever thought possible. Nice meeting him, cool guy.
I've got a whole box of walking baits. Something about getting in that rhythmic groove that's satisfying. I do have more success on poppers for whatever reason, though.
^9 I actually enjoyed that. Not something I would normally throw on, but pretty cool. Knowing a bit of Spanish helped with the subs.
Here's one that can resonate with everyone especially right now.
I had a 3rd gen Revo S and I could tell by flipping it over and near the gear box it said something like "RVO 03". Hopefully yours has something similiar or you could just post a picture. A quick google search shows gen 2 and 3 look very different.
I don't know, but seeing this got me to throw on some Hatebreed and Ringworm albums this morning. I think I'm going to skew a little older and throw on some Leeway - Born to Expire next!
That's awesome. It was such a beautiful morning too.
I've been targeting snakeheads at a little pond in Columbia for the past few weeks. Two days ago, I got to see something pretty cool I hadn't seen before. They must have just spawned a week or two ago because I followed a fry ball and the parents around the pond and watched the little funnel cloud as every few minutes they would surface. The parents wanted nothing to do with anything I threw at them or dragged over their bodies and through the fry. Hopefully those jaws will loosen up here shortly...
Yeah, he's confused and didnt read the last two posts.. The OP posted about a new Fuego, when it's actually a reel that came out 5 or 6 years ago based off the original, bigger Tatula frame.
For enthusiast offerings stateside, The Tackle Trap cant be beat. I've picked up a few things from Carolina Fishing Tackle recently as well. Overseas, there are dozens of great retailers. For strictly lures, I'd just check a bunch of other sites classified forums for great deals.
I've had that happen before, but I think the most memorable "hang up" is when I first started learning on a baitcaster and got a horrible backlash. My buddy and I were out in the canoe and he was the more experienced, so he worked on getting it out. Must have been a good 5 or 6 minutes he sat there before he said it was a lost cause and started hand lining to get my hook and senko back. As soon as he got tension on the line he hollered and soon after pulled up a 3 or 4 lb channel cat.
