  1. I go to college now in NC,I'm in the Clayton county Riverdale area,I would tell you to try Mundys mill pond off of Fayetteville road. Its hard to access due to the brush and woods all around but next to the dam to it that people fish, there is also a bank next to it,If you have a Jon boat you can put it out there with a little troll motor.I want to try it but I don't have the finances to try it.Hope that helps. You will be able to cover that lake with the boat since there is only like 2 places to fish from on it
  2. I'm going to start fishing Fayetteville when I come back down from college for winter break.I was going to check the lakes out in peach tree also.If you hit Fayetteville road on the side where is runs into Tara blvd, there are a couple of ponds there. One lake there you have to pay,but it is well stocked from what I've been told and has been there for awhile. There is a place I know that hardly gets fishing pressure,it is the Mundys Mill pond which is between the high school and fire station.I fished the dam to see were there fish and caught some bream.I just couldn't fish the whole lake because it can only be accessed from one area on the bank and it's hard to get to.I wish I had a Jon boat so I could get out there and really see what's out there.Theres a bridge by this also that runs into the flint that can have its days also.I also would say hit the reservoirs out in lovejoy
  3. I will have to look into that and talk to my mistake as somewhere to try.A lot of businesses, companies, and neighborhoods being built in charleston and they stock them too and a lot of them encourage the fishing !! I really want to fish the goose creek reservoir, but I hear the gators are just too infested in that area and are real bad
  4. tell me about it man especially Atlanta!! I found real small creeks that are part of the flint river and have caught bass out there back last summer. I'm thinking about trying to find other flint river access points in Atlanta or chattahoochee river access points and start there.NC,I usually fish the man made lakes in Greensboro or the haw river or the cape fear river.Jacksonville,NC isn't that bad of an area to fish though
  5. I don't blame you on the levy county spots.Everybody fishes here in these areas.Alachua,Gilchrist,Levy, and Dixie county have some areas.Dixie is kind of out the way.My brother has a couple of old lime pit spots that they fish around Gilchrist county and a little bit of Bronson. That would definitely be cool! Every where can be good even after floods.Ive caught bass and cats in ditches from just getting trapped in the ditches. Well entitled to the name the Swamp! Have you fished the Suwannee River or orange lake in Gainesville? I can't seem to catch anything in the river there, but people swear there are monsters there.I would also recommend blue springs in Bronson. They can bite fast on the sides there, but you come across a big one every now and then, that is more of a kid friendly area though
  6. Hello fishing peers, You can call me Regi or Jr.I go to college in Greensboro, NC.My mother stays in Riverdale,GA which is a little suburb. My dad stays in Goose Creek, SC.I am also from Gainesville, FL. I spend my time kind of split between these areas, especially the city areas. My dad was military so I've got to fish some good areas in the south. He started me fishing at the age of 2 and recently turned 21.I'm on my own now so I am still learning.I joined this site to soak up and learn knowledge/tips from you guys! I was wondering do guys in any of these locations know of fishing spots in these areas or around them.In GA,I've found a couple of spots in Fayette,Clayton, and Henry county since those areas are as far as I usually go.Atlanta has been hard for me to find spots since staying with my mom during college breaks in a city.In SC, I tend to mostly be in Goose Creek,Charleston,Walterboro area because of family. In NC, I've fished the Greensboro,Burlington,Fayetteville, and Jacksonville areas.Burlington I have had a lot of success. In FL,I know a lot of places in Gainesville,Williston,Chiefland,Bronson,Jacksonville.I mostly be in Gainesville or Williston in Florida due to family also.Fishing is a real passion of mine, hopefully I can share information and locations with you guys and vice versa. I apologize for this long post and I will try to learn the ins and outs of the forum.
