  1. I found a new old stock Curado 200E is it still worth it's original retail price of 189.99?
  2. I'm trying to decide between the Curado 70 and the Revo ALX. I plan on putting them on a 6'8" MXF casting rod. I've held both in store and there are a few things I noticed. The Revo has a smaller overall profile than the Curado which makes me think it would cast light baits better. I also like the clicking tension knob on the Revo. So far i'm kind of set on the Revo but i'm looking for some reasons why the Curado might be a better choice.
  3. For those of you who have experience with both which is the better reel? I've heard the Chronarch e is the same as the curado e.
  4. what are some applications for a 6'8" heavy/fast casting rod?
  5. Would 24 ipt be too slow for lipless cranks, jerkbaits, jigs and worms?
  6. I ran across a new old stock Curado 200 g is it still worth paying it's retail price for this reel?
  7. I use my Shimano Citica g which is a 7.1:1 and it works fine.
  8. I made a previous post about whether I should get a 7' MM or 7' MF casting rod next and I had pretty much settled on the MF but there is a 6'10" MHF casting rod that I really like but idk if it would make any sense to buy it considering I have a rod very similar to it. My current lineup is a 7' MHF casting rod, a 7'6" MHXF casting rod and a 6'10" MXF spinning rod.
  9. I currently use three combos. A 7' MH fast casting rod, a 7' 6" MH extra fast casting rod, and a 6' 10" extra fast spinning rod. I cant decide between a M moderate or a M fast casting rod. I would appreciate some advice on this.
  10. My Rapala rattlin rap 04 in baby bass... Caught tons of bass lost it in the bottom of a cove about 10 casts later my dad reels it in hooked to his lure. Guess it wasn't it's time to go.
  11. I was on the BPS website and i couldn't find the extreme series spinning rods but I only found the casting rods and the only one left was the 6' M. If they are getting liquidated it could possibly be a good thing because they could go on sale at my local BPS.
  12. I would go with the casting rod and if you can scrape up 30 bucks id get a Sienna which performs great for its price.
  13. I got a Shimano Sahara 2500 for 50 bucks on sale at bass pro today
  14. I'm trying to decide between the casitas and the pro qualifier. The Casitas retails for $119.99 and the Pro qualifier retails for $99.99 and will soon be $59.99 during the spring classic sale. The Casitas has a composite frame while the pro qualifier's frame is aluminum. I own a Citica and a Pro qualifier reel already and the pro qualifier performs amazingly. I also love shimano but feel like 60 bucks for an aluminum frame reel is a steal. I want the gear ratio to be in the 7 range so I can put it on my 7' MH casting rod and move my 6.4:1 pro qualifier on to my 7' M crankbait rod.
