The national TBF High School SAF tournament was held at Lake Hartell about two weeks ago. My local club sent a team who won the Washington State title. On the first day, I was told 467 boats containing two team members and their coach hit the lake in stages. I also was told this was the largest event boat and angler wise ever held. This was an experience of a life time for our boys and I’m sure, every angler. Local communities and chamber of commerce coordination made this event a logistical success and set the tone for bigger things to come
Our club is sending two more boys to the BASS High School national event later this month the Chickamagua as the Bell twins represent Washington State in that series. Bass fishing has a bright future from what I’m seeing at this level. Great stuff.
