Surprise! If you look closely you can see a couple of Speed Taps are sun bleached. They are models made in Hood River.

I fish mine. They are replaceable.

I apply 3/16, 1/4 and 5/16 and the selection is based on rate of fall and penetration needed. Bait design also comes into play. I find some baits need a quicker drop speed to get those wiggles moving.

Fishing a jet sit aggressively can tire my wrist some. Deep cranking doesn’t really tire me out but my combo handles those baits well. Nothing else seems to cause any fatigue. It’s amazing how much a 100 mm handle helps.
