The sweet spot for that model is 3/8 ounce. That opens up several moving baits and light cover bottom baits. You can crankbaits, jerkbaits, smaller top water baits, lighter Texas rigged plastics, weightless Senko, underspins, flukes, shaky heads. Pretty versatile. Enjoy.
I was thinking about this topic a few days ago, the times when those match’s shine . Of course there flouro really does/it’s job it’s valued.
finally’ there are number braids that have really pushed themselves into our popular market. So my position is limp subtle braids are too plysble. So my thought is how to insert braid into the technique the gets the Benny of it. I want braid for frogs, toads swim jigs and other moving baits like top water.
Finally will use braid with a jig or Texas rig. Even with having by for pitching and flippin zButt!! To maintain a sense of connection and loose that saggy feeling I use a stiffer braid, that being Suffix 131 in green.I stumbeled on is and like it at it handles in a bait caster. That took way to long. some thing to ponder over.
Had surgery this morning to extricate another kidney stone. They had to get it out of the kidney. This malady has been a curse to me. This is number three this year. It makes me want to listen to Jimmi Hendrix song, Stone Free. At least I can rest for a few days. Beats shoveling snow.
I’m going to throw a wrench in the gears. I have multiple variations of SV spooled Daiwas. You know what model casts jerk baits and smaller hard baits best for me??? You don’t? Well I’m going to blurt it out. The Elite 100. Surprise!!!! I have one on my Champion 704CB and one on my Kaden 610-4CB. They will cast farther that my Steez. I’m really impressed with the Elites.
