  1. I've never fished a bubble gum colored fluke in my life.
  2. What Rolo said.
  3. After reading your original post carefully, especially the weight range, the 735 would be the most capable to handle your needs. The 735 is extra heavy but not mag-heavy. What males it such a good rod for it's rating is the active tip. There's enough tip to load without sacrificing the power rating. I'm confident you will be pleased with the 735's performance and the Fury's are a heck of a deal.
  4. I have no intention of buying any item or service featured during the Super Bowl. That was money well spent.
  5. It provides my wife time away from me.
  6. I bought the VHS tape called Flippin With Dee Thomas about 33 or 34 years ago. I bought a Fenwick telescopic Dee Thomas Special, threw an Ambassadeur 5000 on it and hit the slough. I caught my first flippin fish, a whopping 13 inches but that was a special beginning. I still have the combo. I love the history of this sport. Thanks A-jay.
  7. The SV 103 in 7.9 all day long. It's a tank and smooth as they come.
  8. And thy quiver shall be ever full. I matched SS SV with the 703C No reel for the 745 yet. I did get the new Fury 664C. 734 and 735 round them out.
  9. Dobyns Fury 705CB. Like the other models mentioned, it will push the upper limits but will work for a single rod application.
  10. My God-son Ryan. He passed away last July. I would buy used and get the best quality baitcast combo I could find. Don't take yourself so seriously. Life is serious enough already.
  11. I ordered one today. I concur.
  12. Have you ever seen someone on PCP ? Those dudes don't hold a candle to someone on a super tweak. The silk blue pajamas were cute though.
  13. Wheeww. That was close. I just realized it's a lefty. Now I don't have to break into your house.
  14. I checked with sales manager. The molds for Brad's Wigglers are not the original Wart molds. The design was modified to specifically add some cup to the bill.
  15. I eat pretty simple. Humas and pita chips, dried cranberries, smoked hazelnuts, dried passion fruit and a Slim Jim. I have been known to accidentally put a donut in the boat. Water, Gatorade and if chilly, a thermos of Lady Earl Tea with honey and lemon. I keep the china carefully packed in case the water is rough. There's no need to fore go the comforts of home while fishing. I've heard of Cliff Bars but I don't plan on hanging on the outside of my boat with chalk on my hand.
  16. It's a Brad's Wiggler. Brad Schoenborn is a friend of mine. I will have to ask him about where the molds came from. The local retailer he also works for has the Wigglers on sale pretty often. I've been using them for years. It's a great rip-rap bait.
  17. You're asking one rod to do alot. With the applications you listed, in the Fury line, 734C.
  18. This is about four years ago and a few months ago with some newer stuff.
  19. I think i'm more brand satisfied than brand loyal although the performance and service I have experienced from my preferred rod brand have been as good as could ever hope for.
  20. Diawa SV103XS. Balances perfectly, smooth as they come and it's a tank.
  21. Do you accept VISA?
  22. I have been throwing Brad's Wigglers for a long time. The line tie is deigned for steelhead applications so I cut it off and replace it with a quality dual lock snap. It's my go to bait for rip rap. It's been a staple for coho anglers for years.
  23. A hundred bucks to the first guy to kiss it.......or his widow.
  24. It's a new hard bait by Yamamoto
  25. If your rod was a dog it would be 77 years old. I hated it when I had to put my old rods down.
