  1. I lock both and hope for the best.
  2. If I didn't fish where there is no alligators then I wouldn't get to fish. Ross Barnett is loaded with gators. I see at least one every time I go. I saw the biggest gator I have ever seen Saturday when I went. He was probably at least 12 ft., maybe more. I went by him, he never moved.
  3. That ought to last you about 30 years!!!
  4. Sportsman's Outfitters is bring back their President Day sale on Daiwa Tatulas. The 100 and 150 are $113 and some change. Use code TATULA15. I don't know how long it is going to last.
  5. Hope it killed the rest of the Giant Salvania that was in my lake.
  6. That is terrible looking. If I caught that, I would have to cut the line, would not handle it!!!

    Buy tackle

A lot of TW junkies here including me!!!
  8. OK I did order the 100. Today I have sold 3 reels and looking at getting at least 2 more Tatulas. Would you get all 100 or maybe one 100 and one 150. I guess my question would be, can the 100 do all the things that the 150 do. Is the 150 better for throwing a jig or chatterbait.
  9. Fish Monkey has a big selection of gloves. https://www.fishmonkeygloves.com/
  10. Bandit may not be classified as a square bill but it does catch fish, my favorite crankbait plus it is one of the cheapest.
  11. Sportman's Outfitters has a Presidents Day sale going on. Looks like they add something every day. Friday they had Daiwa Tatula's rods and reels 15% off and today they had Lew's rods and reels on sale.
  12. I have 3 Short Warts and that is what is printed on the bottom of the lip.
  13. Saw some in Academy like that.
  14. Y'all talked me into the 100, just ordered. Excuse my bad misspelling, went back and spelled Daiwa correctly. ? That does look pretty cool. Will probably get the 150 later this spring.
  15. Looking to pick up either a Daiwa 100 or 150. Sportsmans Outfitters has these 2 models on sale for around $113. I am going to use one of these models on a crankbait rod. Don't much much about either since I have used Lews for years. Which one would you suggest for using cranks. I am leaning on the 100 just because of being lighter.
  16. I believe the Jackhammer is the best out there (never paid more than $13 for one) however, the Picasso Shock Blade Pro is really close to it for $10 regular price.
  17. Always used Power Pro, no problems.
  18. Check this out for a use of med/heavy rods. https://majorleaguefishing.com/tips/randy-howells-daiwa-tatula-elite-spinning-rod-setup-for-power-fishing/
  19. Your lucky, I found out the hard way, on the Interstate!!! Crazy thing is I thought I had tried my tire wrench and thought it would fit. Had to call my wife to bring me my 4 way, which is kept in my truck all the time now.
  20. Most of my fish I caught in the spring was caught slider fishing. I used a 4" Z Man finesse worm in Junebug on their 1/16oz weedless head. I used yellow 10#PP with 7# Sunline Sniper leader. My rod was a Lews Custom 6'6" and a Plueger XT Supreme reel. Most came on just swimming it.
  21. On my home lake a Junebug 8" Zoom lizard works pretty well.
  22. Easier to cast, better on shoulders and elbows. I can cast spinning rig just as far or maybe farther than casting with less effort.
