  1. Just got a new Plueger Supeme XT, got to get a new rod now !!! Come on Black Friday Sale !!!!
  2. I use to fish about a 15 acre lake. The owner only let a few fish but didn't want you to keep any fish. It got to where you could only catch smaller fish, I told the owner that he need to start keeping a bunch of the smaller fish but he didn't buy it. I finally quit fishing it.Some people just will not listen.
  3. For now I am using a Guido Hibdon Diawa 6'3" Finess Rod with a new Plueger Supreme XT. I am using 7lb. Sniper and the usually Z Man heads and TRD. I am thinking about changing the rod to a St Croix 6'9' ml. and go with 10lb. braid and 7lb leader.Just started using the Ned Rig so I am still learning it.
  4. I agree with others that you can't beat a Pfleuger either the President or Supreme. I just bought the 30 Supreme series, weights 7.1 oz.. It is the XT which is going to run a more than $100. I caught mine a Wal-Mart for $107 which was a real deal.
  5. My name is Tom and I live outside of the Jackson area and fish the Ross Barnett Reservoir. I just started back fishing this year after not fishing for 12 years. I told my wife when I retired I was going to buy me another bass boat and start back fishing. Well I did just that but waited two years after retirement. I fished a bunch in the 80's and 90's, if fact, that about all I did besides work. I can tell you tackle sure has changed, I guess I got sticker shock looking to buy new tackle. After trying some new Lew's reels, I had to replace my old ones, the newer one are so much better. Also there are new techniques that I never knew of just as the Ned Rig. Well thanks to this forum I am catching up to new equipment and techniques. Well got to load up and go fishing, thanks to all for a great forum.
