  1. I would go with no longer than 2 years, better safe than sorry.
  2. Like others have said, there is no way I could thrown a frog with a trailer in the lily pads I fish, However, if you just throwing it on a clear bank, not a bad idea.
  3. Everyone check your equipment and be safe, nothing will spoil your day like a ticket or accident.
  4. Last rod I shipped was by USPS Priority Mail, less than $20.
  5. You should be able to cast any frog on a baitcasting reel. Make the right adjustments, practice, use braid.
  6. Use a Lew's Custom 7'2" Heavy with Lew's 6;3.1 BB1 with 40#Power Pro, Sunline 14# test Sniper.
  7. You mean you can cook it !!!! I have a couple of can of Vienna Sausages in the boat at all times.
  8. Worked great on my Bass Tracker, was still working when I sold it. Believe I bought it at Fred's.
  9. Nothing more exciting that fishing a frog !!!
  10. I remember buying that Minn Kota TM for that price.
  11. Always nice to save a few buck by doing it yourself. Now with the money you saved, go out and buy some new baits.
  12. Devil's Horse has been around for a long time, hard to beat.
  13. Great info !!!! This is how i store my ZMan baits.
  14. I bet you won't have any more problems. Sounds like he gave you a good price on the weld job. Good luck with it.
  15. Chart./Brown Back,
  16. It is a pill to watch but I am glad they are trying it. No other way I am going to be a boat with a pro.
  17. Sounds like my kind of jig.
  18. Good to see him winning again !!!!~
  19. My best advise is clean it as soon as you get home. The longer you wait, the harder it is to get clean. I mostly just use a rag and water to get the ring that forms around it. Also charge your batteries as quick as possible. O yea, don't forget to put the drain plug back in, don't ask how I know.
  20. That is not Dave Reeves's jig. I don't think he has a web site but you can email him to order some. I think his email is dtrs5kprs@yahoo.com
  21. The TRDs are more buoyant than the ZinkerZs because they have less salt. When I get a pack of TRDs I put them in a bowl and see how many float, most the time it varies. For the ones not floating to the top, I take them and start stretching, roll them in my hands and them run them under hot water. I do this until all of them float.
  22. I don't worry about rating too much. My Lews Custom is rated 1/8-3/8 but I throw 1/16oz with ease. it is line rated for 6-12, I use 8lb. test.
  23. Buy a transom saver and be done with it.
