Since I have had skin cancer removed, I take it very serious. I wear a hat with a large brim and a flap that hangs down in the back to protect the neck along with sunglasses. I also wear Huk shirts, which is very comfortable and gloves.
I have been getting it for a bunch of years. Their is some overlap articles but I think it is still worth the money. Besides, I don't mind giving to an organization that has put bass fishing where it is today.
You said that one of your bunks was loose and you had to tighten it up with pliers, I think that bunk is still moving on you. I had the same problem and getting them bunk bolts really tight solved my problem. I doubt you could get it tight enough with pliers.
The chatterbait is much like the Ned rig, you can't fish it wrong. I have caught bass slow rolling on the bottom, to buzzing on the top. Let the fish tell you how they like it.
Been checked a few times and have always had my license. All I need now is my drivers license, you don't need a fishing license if your over 65 in Mississippi.
I really haven't wore anything but Huk but I am sure others will probably work. I don't mind paying the price because you usually get what you pay for. To me the Huk shirt is really cool to wear. I don't seem to get as hot. I recommend wearing long sleeves but you can do what you want. If you get skin cancer cut off, you can afford a bunch of shirts.
Tackle Warehouse has the diameter of the two lines different from you. Sunline shows .0122 and Gama is .014. I use Sniper and really like it, have not used Gamma
