Only trouble I have had with Zman is sticking together some and this is not a big problem. I live where it is hot and humid, they are kept in my boat under the garage. I honestly believe that the ZMan line can not be beat.
Maybe 24 volt system is different, but I have never unplugged my TM when I charge on my 12 volt system. I do turn the speed to off and the rocker switch to off. Maybe I am going to learn something.
I was talking to a friend that works in a hardware that repairs small engines. He said that he gets a lot of engines to work on and most of them use the Mom and Pop gas station down the road. I noticed that when I used them, my boat didn't run as good. I went back to ethanol gas and it does great. I do use the additives.
I use to use Loctite Gel Glue when I joined braid to fc but I don't think it is really necessary. I don't use it anymore because I don't think it helps a bad tied knot.
Tried Booyah spinnerbaits and wasn't too crazy about them. I still have a life time supply of old Hart spinnerbaits, to me, one of the best made. Still wish they made them.
Sounds like when you took it apart to lube, something didn't go back exactly right. I don't think you did any damage, I would take it apart again and reassemble.
Assuming that you did not have any water in there to start the day, it should be completely dry. Sounds to me like you have a hose leaking, maybe the one that fills up your live well. Pumping for 7 minutes is a good bit of water.
