So i was on craiglist and i found this reel for $40. Lol is this thing any good? http://www.fishingrodpro.com/product/kastking-sharky-ii-waterproof-spinning-reel-up-to-41-5lbs-revolutionary-drag-system-with-carbon-fiber-matrix-enhanced-brass-gear-and-no-screw-power-launch-spool-2016-flagship-spinning-reel-2/
Im going to spool it up with tatsu fluoro but idk if i should get 12lb or 15lb what would you put on the rod? Or maybe i might just get sunline snipe fc? What do you think
Thanks and no i live in california central valley.. Soo no vegetation, im planning on pairing it up with a *** and the customizing to a lime color to match the rod what do you guys think?
Should i get the medium heavy fast action for versatality or the medium fast action. I will be using trigs, cranks, jigs, topwater, spinnerbaits, buzzbaits, chatterbaits.
So for versatility I should get the MF instead of the mhf? I want to fish Texas rigs jigs cranks some top water and spinners would the mf work for all these?
I'm thinking about picking up 2 fenwick hmgs from ffo tackle. Are they good rods for $58.88? Any of you guys had experience with them, I plan on getting one for crank baits and one for trigs and pairing them up with inceptions.
So dont get the skeete reese? And i fish deep divers most of the time. What do you guys think of this dobyns fury? http://dobynsrods.com/rod/fr-705cb/
Yeah i think im sold, im going to buy that one and a medium heavy fast action. What reels do they balance well with? I was thinking maybe buying 2 inceptions or 2 daiwaa tatula ct?
So I'm looking for a good cranking rod under $150. I used to own a skeete Reese s glass it was pretty nice rod had a lot of bend but I sold it... I'm thinking of buying a Dobyns fury cranking rod..
